I have a Fender Frontman PR-241 which is pretty much an earlier version of the Frontman 15 and now I am definitely going to upgrade the speaker. Especially for only $30, it is well worth that!
Do you sometimes lay down and watch a video on your phone and accidentally drift off to sleep for a moment and forget where you are? Like you actually recall your brain thinking you’re in someone else’s room like an old friend or relative’s place and your eyes start scanning to see the layout of the room until they piece together where you are and then you start to feel the panic fade and the relief set back in?
Is this a genius satire of a young musicians who play in a band and are trying to follow their dreams while doing gear reviews on UA-cam on the side? Pure comic gold. Love it.
Stole the board out of mine, put it in a homemade speaker box and it's driving a 12" speaker from an old stereo console. It sounds beautiful, better than it has any right to.
With the right frequency response rating probably really good!! 6x9 Will probably sound FULL with some good deep bass response. I put a Wal-Mart 6x9 in my Vox Pathfinder 10 and WOW it sounds so huge!!! 👍
The cabinet will not hold a pair. Just one. BUT, you can make a cabinet for two, and hook it to the amp. BUT, the amp does not have an external speaker jack. You'd have to install one yourself.
To unlock the secret tone...run Vol/Treble/Bass up to 6-6-6. Then ease the volume up to 10. Hellfire tonal bliss!!!! Forget the distortion channel. These amps are made by fender. You run them up at 10 & set your EQ. I don’t know why everyone thinks a $60 amp is going to give them jazzy cleans & creamy distortion. Punch the thing & play with some dynamics. That’s all it wants. Save your money.
When I hit the drive select it just gets louder not distorted like that. Well... it did once but never after that. I’m actually here watching this video to gain some insight on whether or not replacing the speaker would help this drive select issue? My speaker inside my frontman also rattles due to the voice coil rubbing from time to time. Two separate issues? Cheers.
Is that a bluetooth speaker? No! That's a guitar amp. It sounded better with Celestion Eight 15. 👌 That tiny little fucker is cute... I'm talking about the amp! 😅😁

Ahhh the mexican one. Yes is the same amp but with a metal grill.

I too have a PR-241. Gonna swap it out sometime.
Next reverb tank!
Celestion8 15 stonks 📈
Ok, I have one, my first amp. I’m going to do the upgrade.

I run my Squier 15 through a 12 cab, sounds fantastic. I’ve run my MG412 cab with it at an outdoor gig before as well.
Yeah, I put a Warehouse speaker in it and now it sounds good.
My celestion 8 15 is on it's way...can't wait 🤘
I've wondered how would this amp sound with a pair 6.5 inch car speakers, or a pair of 6x9's

There’s a very noticeable difference.
I’ve just got one that is broken, might fix it and change speaker! Thanks
do either of you remember if you gave it all 10 watts with the gain down clean ??? ..... i just need to know where it starts breaking up.
Thats hella lot better
Is it worth it?
What guitar is that?
Fender Powercaster
@@robotromance5470 thanks!

Is this the Frontman 10G ? Cuz the 10G is a 6” speaker
This Frontman comes with an 8 inch speaker. This is the Fender Frontman that came stock with the Affinity Strat box in the early 2000's
Justin: My son has the 10G did you ever find a decent 6 in speaker?
Frontman 15G (8" speaker). Jensen makes a couple of very nice 6" speakers which would upgrade the sound of the Frontman 10G.
I think the Celestion swap made a world of difference! Very much worth the money imho
It still sounds like ass but now a freshly washed one
And that's a lot more desirable.
yes, less shitty ass but ass for sure 😅
better however crappy sounding even with the celestion. these amps would be tested with an extesion speaker with a 12 inch.
Are you stoned?
Sort of
So - ok.
You should have done a back to back comparo with each tone and each speaker. It's called editing.
