I suspect it's just noice from people accidentally tapping or clicking it without realizing it. There's always some percentage of those inadvertent dislikes.
Is that a Quenoil? It looks just like Mikyung Sung's, who is, in my opinion, perhaps the best bass player anywhere, showing once and for all that being dainty and female is 100% as good for playing the bass - or any instrument, just ask Carol Jantsch! - as being burly and masculine. (Thinking of your blog post from a couple of years ago that I just read.) I also like Maria Krykov a lot. I think starting early has a lot to do with it! (It also looks like Szymon Marciniak’s Quenoil.) By the way, very beautifully played! (Bach is hard to play well.)
She plays French bow (about half of bassists use French, like a cello, vs German, which is sort of the under-handed style, in some cases depending on what country they learned in). But as Julius points out, it is also a baroque hold by not holding it so close to the frog, which gives a lighter and gentler sound.
