Classic rock, progressive rock, space rock, art rock, heavy rock, alternative, experimental, ambient, etc. They dabbled in plenty of different styles, and excelled in all of them. Greatest band ever.
Nice to see an Aussie reacting. I'm in NZ, loved listening to Pink Floyd since the 80s. I recommend you listen to Time and Great Gig In The Sky together. They are from the same album or better still the whole album!
@@inbedwithmusic2130 This is a great road trip album from start to finish!!! The whole album is a man's journey from birth through life and eventually, insanity... pretty cool!!!
Hi I'm in Dallas Tx and you are adorable! I'm 58 so this is a great song from my past. I watched you first because of your BTS reaction. Yes another ARMY subscriber. you are listening to some great stuff!
@@pauldocmusic2411 IIRC it was on the top 200 best sellers for over 15 years, and it got kicked off only because of a rule change. Then they released the remastered version and it was right back on top!
I recommend you check out Jaco Pastorius. Regarded by many as the greatest bass player that ever lived. I recommend Continuum, from his 1976 self titled album. I also recommend Havona, which he composed in his time as the bassist for the fusion band Weather Report (he played with them from 1977-1982)
Pink Floyd made quite a few great songs. Money is from their Dark Side of the Moon album, released in the US in 1973. You should check out the LIVE version of Money from the Pulse Concert (1994 London).
Hi Jess! My first time watching one of your reactions. It was especially fun seeing your first reaction to the cash register sound. Reminded me of when I first heard it in 1974. It is amazing to realise it all was recorded & mixed on tape. Today a clean production like that would be much easier digitally recorded. Having to technically produce the song from tapes seems difficult to me beyond imagination. I'll be watching more reactions. Keep being yourself!
Dark Side of the Moon 1973 Wish you were here 1975 Animals 1977 The Wall 1979 Only Animals can really be split into songs, all the others run from one song to the next as a complete entity.
Yes this is funky - Pink Floyd style . they hit different than anyone . try Any Colour You Like - by them if you like it funky . always love your reactions , it looks like you have so much fun
To really get to know Pink Floyd you should listen to their albums in their entirety. The individual parts mostly belong together and only then make sense, although "money" speaks for itself. I hope you comment more from P.F. Best wishes from hamburg (germany)
Pink Floyd have so many amazing songs and albums, the album this is from needs to be heard from start to finish as they run into each other. Please react to Sultans of Swing by Dire Straits, but I recommend listening to the album version first, then the live version from the Alchemy concert.
Oh I remember you said we could try to pick a song that moves you like Free Bird. I gotcha here, get your tissues And pull up the song : Love Me, by Collin Raye! Oh I know a few that will hit hard. Do the Love Me first but here are just a couple more to make you tear up and one that will make you tear up but it will be happy tears. Happy tear first, it's Collin Rage again but this time it's: One Boy, One Girl. Then try Lynyrd Skynyrd : Ready To Fly off the last album called Last of a Dying Breed, Johnny VanZant To kid's little brother took the Skynyrd band over after the plane crash. I know a bunch of other tear jerker songs if that's what you want. Let me know if you do, I grew up on all kinds of music and know many types of songs and music from rock to country and RnB. I'm 64 so I've been around a long time.
OK, You seem to like Rock n Roll so her is a band you really need in you life, the band is Boston and the song is : Foreplay \ Long Time. It will blow you away!
I don't see it on your movie channel but maybe you've seen the trailer to this little obscure indie film that came out about ten years ago starring that hot new blonde Aussie chick? and some guy named Leo Disomethingorother? one of the many places you might've heard this tune before..... catchy ain't it? ua-cam.com/video/LwSIlGZNfdc/v-deo.html

With all due respect I find it difficult to believe that anyone over 20 has not ever heard this song or Stairway To Heaven... Especially if you have an interest in music of any sorts.
Hi, I had heard of Stairway to Heaven but not actually heard the song. As for this one, I commented on the part that sounded familiar to me. With me, I tend to find something I like and stick with it. Until last year I had the same music playlist for over a decade. Same thing happens with movies. I’ve loved and rewatched the same half a dozen movies since the mid 2000s. I’m absolutely genuine with my reactions, I even mention that in this video that I went to react to Wish You Were Here but couldn’t because I realised that I already had heard it. I appreciate you commenting this so I could have a chance to explain my side.
Thank you, this is helpful. My headphones make it the opposite and when looking at the audio in the editing program, it’s balanced but I’ll tweak it for next time.
One of the BEST rock bands ever! Listen to more Pink Floyd, you won't be disappointed.

This was such a big hit back in the day and I think it is still the biggest-selling album ever!
Wow really? That’s an amazing achievement!
Not quite it's 3rd behind Thriller and Back in Black by AC/DC. It has sold close to 50million copies. But is far superior to both those albums.

At the beginning is the sound of a cash register which many people born in the last 3 decades may never have heard in real life.
It is in a movie The Italian Job
