    what is the faster way to model 3D complex geometry in ls-dyna rather than inserting nodes and coordinates ?

    Thank you for addressing the comment by this tutorial video, it is indeed helpful. I have a doubt, you used a shell spin feature to convert the planar mesh to a 3-d mesh. But, there is an option solid spin as well, if we use it, Will the end result be different?

      That's a good question. The profile created was shell, so the shell spin was used. Solid face spin can also be used but it is used for the solid to make solid

      @@bhargavgurrala27 But when you cut the section, it looks solid . There is no hollow portion. How come it modelled like that when you used shell spin
