What if sf6 started all 2nd rounds with half drive gauge for both characters or even started off first round with only half drive gauge but replenishes normally.
The Guile thing made me laugh I had the same issue yesterday vs a Guile so went to look at it because my 5Mk kept whiffing even though I can punish most 2MP/2MKs with it. Guile’s hit boxes are whack
I'm curious if iDom might like the new Fatal Fury better than SF6. It's surely offense heavy too, but there seems to be less braindead stuff like low forward drive rush.
The throws after frame traps is insanely fast. I just called them Combo throws, because you can’t react to them. You have to just guess that there will be throw. I think SF5 had the best window to tech throws. This game, it’s just nonsense with rush down characters like Rashid or Cammy.
Negative Penalty might be a good thing for this game for sure. Even as a JP player, if my opponents char doesn’t have any neutral skips, I can just walk away and get drive gauge waaaaay too easily. It’ll just be more interesting if you had to fight to keep your gauge.
idk man, sfv felt like neutral skip the game. balrogs -4 neutral skip button, uriens multiple neutral skips, was so much more cringe than any kind of drive rush. other games feel like they loved giving characters fly across screen specials. theres much less of those in 6 and i prefer it that way
idom has the most click-baity titles on what is other wise just packaged twitch restreams. He didnt lose his whole drive gauge on that rashid combo, he lost 2and a half bars, then did a drive reversal to lose the other part. Then at the end idom tried to say he lost becaus of a throw loop guess. He lost because jb put in hella work and won 80% of the mixups in what is just a bad matchup for manon to begin with. Outplayed.
@@epico1657 bum ass response ngl, he's not saying Idom is bad, he's explaining what happened in that scenario, drive reversal wasn't the best option against a character that can just get in or space you so easily like Rashid against Manon, he lost 2 and a half bars off the lvl 2 pressure, other 2 in the Dr reversal and he didn't even got burnout, it's just a click-baity video for fun
@Idom we been tell you this. These games are to aggressive, to DR happy, to DI happy, no real defense, just guessing a lot. They made it to easy and to accessible for bums to mash supers, DI, and DR. It’s so easy that people just run to Master just for clout and bragging rights but won’t play good players in legends. Basically they made the game to accessible for button mashing bums that just want a quick win and never put the work in to truly train and get better.
