In China and other countries in East Asia the East Asian Hairdressers are not trained to do Afro exotic hair. They need to be offered training courses by an Afro hair professional so they know how to do Afro exotic hair.
Hopefully your hair line will grow back try using rosemary and mint oil or fenugreek oil. Also spritz your hair each day or evening. A hair tea rinse like green tea or black tea can help to grow the hair back.

@@melanyyyh4857You are welcome. Yes green tea, black tea, rosemary tea, can be used as a hair rinse after you have washed your hair. Leave in the tea rinse for up to 30 minutes, minimum 15 minutes then wash out. Rosemary hair spray, Fenugreek Hair spray and Moringa Hair spray can be used as a leave in.

Why didn't you just leave? Like they gave you several red flags. If they say you can leave then just leave because it's not going to get better. You basically just did your own hair anyways. Also did i miss the heat protector? Because the way that flat iron was smoking I'd expect heat damage 😅.
It was a bit difficult to leave especially after my hair already shrank, but regardless I know😩 the amount of damage my hair went through

LOL- some blacks can't even do their own hair. It isn't easy. That is why so many wear wigs and braids. I believe all stylists should know how to do different hair. Go to classes and work on mannequins with afro hair- practice makes perfect!
First of all she didn’t give you a proper shampoo. She should have clarified your hair 2 times, hydrated your hair with a moisture shampoo, then a deep conditioner. Afterwards spray on a leave in conditioner then blow dry your hair and then silk pressed hair with a flat iron. You should have walked out when she started blow drying your hair with her hands. 😢😢😮
Walking out was hard once my hair was already in its shrinkage state

Next time just wash it there or at home. Blow your hair before you come. Then allow them to flat iron. But you don't use comb to blow out. Use a round brush. I am speaking to you because I am a hair stylist. ✨️ But your hair look more blown out than straightened. Not products were used either. Smh. .

What she was doing was trying to get away with blow drying and straightening without detangling by just using her hands. Had you not said anything she would of started to flat iron your hair without combing/brushing it, i guarantee you.

Sorry but you can't blame that Chinese woman for your hair! You can't have these high expectations for something that you know they don't have any idea of! Then you go in there and don't try to explain to her what to do, then when you do it's an argument, then you continue to dry your hair into eternity!! God bless your hair! But don't blame anyone else while you took part as well.

I will obviously have high expectations because of what I was told when I inquired.
Despite the huge population in China, China only has over 500,000 black people living there. From a hairstylist perspective it isn't worth paying extra tuition to learn about different types of hair when there aren't many to begin with. The woman was trying though 😊
But my city only has a lot of foreigners and the fact that she agreed before I went is what made me disappointed

I think she did the best she could, maybe the way YOU were yanking and aggressively combing your own hair was something SHE found uncomfortable doing to your hair.
She did her best but not to the standards of a stylist, what was annoying was the fact that she agreed and said she could African hair, she would have easily said no to avoid her the inconveniences especially that I paid for it all.

Too muçh blowing and tugging on the hair, which is creating damage . The consequences are too costly to take a chance on someone who has no clue on how to do your hair😮
