Hi Cheryl, a big "Happy Birthday" to Mike (sorry, i'm a bit late to the party to congratulate him). Hope you both had a great time celebrating and he enjoyed his fish n chip supper, yum 😋. I'm sure you will get your weight back under control soon. You always look lovely anyway ❤. Fingers crossed 🤞 you'll get a buyer soon. All good things come to those who wait, isn't that the saying 😊. Have a great week all of you. Look forward to the next vlog. Take care ❤😊xxx
Hi Diane, hope you are well ❤️xx Thank you so much. I got on scales this morning and I've lost 2lbs but that will be in the next vlog along with some other bits n bobs ❤️xxxx
Thank you! 😍 Have to say that one from M&S in frozen section was a bit soggy, I didnt eat mine and Mike not keen so it was a bit disappointing but black forest is definitely a favourite for him. Hes going on a diet next week so that will be fun 🙄😬🤣xxx

Thank you Clare, you are so lovely!❤️❤️ Hope your Hubby ok x. Getting old sucks 🫤 we think we are invincible in our twenties/thirties and that anyone middle aged is ancient and all of a sudden .... were those 'ancient' ones 🤣 except in my head I'm still young, fit flexible and indestructible 😁 I'm starting a new exercise programme to see if I can get healthier so watch this space! 😬❤️❤️❤️xxx
I think you are right Cheryl. The warmer and sunnier days will help sell your apartment. One look at the sea views from your living room will be enough to persuade someone to buy. Your Bp is slightly elevated but not overly concerning. I think you are more stressed than what you would usually be with the house hunting and selling so that is completely understandable. Hopefully it will settle down once you find the perfect place. I'm so glad that you decided on not taking on a huge project property. Happy birthday mike and I hope you had a wonderful day.
Aw thank you so so much, Mike had a lovely day. 😍😊I reckon when we move and get settled my Blood Pressure will be in the Normal Zone 😍❤️ Im pleased too on the decision on a project - we were thinking of our younger years when it wouldnt have phased us but have to accept a new phase in life - we need somewhere flat we can put our feet up and think ahh. we are home ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Cheryl .so glad you've both decided on not getting a massive project bungalow . Something will come along that's perfect for you both ,it is out there waiting for you. A old medical consultant use to say the acceptable top number for your blood pressure (systolic) is 100 plus your age ,and the lower number below 90 So your looking fab at 42 .😊 Don't be to concerned if your feeling good and no other symptoms . Moving is very stressful Have a great birthday Mike . Enjoy your feast 🎉
Oh Lovely thank you so much, thats a lovely comment and very relaxing too. Yes we have decided on an easy move although its not easy to find but we are sure our little future palace is out there. Very good to hear about blood pressure too. My GP not too concerned provided it doesnt get higher. ❤️❤️Thank you again, really appreciate your support and comments 😍❤️❤️❤️

Happy 65th Mike! same age as my hubby. I would choose good ol fish n chips too 😊 love ‘em! Stress will definitely raise your blood pressure. I’ve just recently gone onto BP meds as mine was consistently high. 140 is mild hypertension but keep a close watch on it and take it a few times throughout the day. Also don’t eat overly salty food. Here in Australia single level houses are the norm. You should move down under here 😁 fingers crossed you get a buyer soon. All the very best 🌸
Hi Vintage Sue - thank you! ❤️ Salty food is definitely a problem - I eat a lot of ready meals full of salt and sugar, I really need to sort my eating habits out. I would love Australian weather and housing but I'm petrified of crawlies, spiders and snakes etc. 😬😂. Thank you so much for Birthday wishes ❤️❤️
On the blood pressure front the top reading is called the systolic reading and measures the pressure of the blood on the vessels when the heart beats and the lower reading is the diastolic which measures the pressure of the blood on the vessels when the heart is at rest. Although blood pressure differs in everyone due to factors like age, weight ,fitness ,stress etc on average the top reading (systolic)should preferably be below 130 and the bottom reading (diastolic) should preferably be below 80. record your BP regularly at different times of day and inform your Gp of the results in case you do need medication. Hope I haven’t boarded you witless with this comment (the ramblings of a nurse of 34 years) 😂😂. Hope you manage to sell your apartment soon 😊❤xx
Thank you so much, not boring at all xxx, great to have advice from someone who knows their stuff, theres a lot of differing info online, googling stuff can send you bonkers. I'm taking ibuprofen through the day at the moment as Ive managed to do something to my neck which I think (again according to google) 😂can make your BP elevate so I haven't tested again this week. But I will certainly take your advice and record regularly throughout the day when I'm off the pain tablets. Blimey 34 years! Thats one heck of a career. Thank you for looking after us all. ❤️❤️❤️ xxxx
Happy birthday Mike, I like your choice of food. 🤞You get your buyer and find your new home in the area you want, I'm sure your bp will go down once you are settled.
Haven't watched you until today but just wondered if you had come across the UA-cam channel 'Moving Home with Charlie'. He gives lots of bang up to date advice on the property scene. It's a tricky time. If you find a buyer who doesn't need a mortgage I'd snap them up - mortgage surveyors are regularly downvaluing at the moment which can be very frustrating! Good luck.
Those viewers look promising Cheryl, you are right in the fact that everything looks better when the sun is shining. Its a great time to move so everything crossed for you. I hope Mike had a lovely birthday xx

A very Happy belated Bithday wish for Mike. I am on blood pressure tabs and I bought a blood pressure machine. Dont understand the numbers either.
