Chrome Pickup Rings - Final Cosmetic Upgrade For My Kramer Pacer Series Guitar

- In this video I replace my the black pickup rings I installed on my Kramer Pacer Series guitar with Chrome Pickup rings. On a previous video I replaced the pickups with Chome Guitar Madness 59ers and used to black pickup rings I had in my parts supply. I decided the guitar needed some chrome pickup rings to complete the cosmetic transformation, and boy was I right. Wait until you see the difference!
Also I ate at a pizza joint and the walls were like your pedal board VANHALEN green and white
Looks Great, even better than white that I had in mind.

It looks so much better. Amazing what a small change to the aesthetics can do. I’m trying to save for my first Kramer, a Baretta. Perhaps I’ll sell a guitar or two to get there quicker.

buying over of these next week in red. I want to try out Floyd Rose systems and don't know if I'll like it or not. So instead of spending a lot of money I want to learn ans maybe upgrade. Plus that volume volume layout is really cool to me.

Nice man! Chrome is classy. I really think this Kramer looks so much better now. Looking back at the white pickups and white pickup rings, it's just no where close to the appearance now. 😁🤟🏻

I have found a fine flat file usually takes off enough to fit well to allow PU height adjustment and it's almost invisible

I ordered a Kramer Pacer from Sweetwater. Same color blue. I was thinking about a DiMarzio Super Distortion in the bridge. Maybe X2N. Thought about EVH Frankenstein but it's $140. Any thoughts (I'm on a budget and want some pickup) pun intended

I have a ratcheting screwdriver with interchangeable that I've had for like 20 years. I bought it because I had a PC at one time I that had star-shaped bolts holding the cover on and I needed to get into it to add a hard drive or something. I forget now.
I never have a problem with it slipping out of the screw if I make sure and use the correct bit beforehand. Well worth having something like that if you work on guitars.

I bought the pick guard for my DIY EVH Frankenstein from Musiclilly. I figured I was just gonna take a saw to it so I cheap'd out. It was a actually a pretty nice pick guard. Love the way that looks! I own the same cheap drill. LMAO
They make pretty nice stuff. I e had good luck with Musiclilly. I like corded drills. Lots of power and no recharging! Plus $29 at Walmart. Haha

You had me LMAO!! I started what I thought was going to be a easy mod on one of my guitars and here it is 1 in Fn morning and just finished!! I keep thinking everything will fit on every guitar but it never does LOL! And I also am the same way with strings! Changed many a pickups and with a Floyd I get it! I finally have to cave in and change one of mine because I don't think I've done it since the beginning of the year LOL... The guitar looks great I'm going to get one of those! The special only needs those locking blocks for trim maybe a new block but they're good otherwise 🤘🤘🤘 in my opinion

I am not sure man! I would think so since they are Kramer products. They probably use the same neck cavity routing.

I file those and then powder coat them chrome again
that said, WD music pickup ring selection is better than musiclily when it comes to fit, usually 😅but both have this tight fit issue
