Exactly this! I kinda wish these guys were more famous/well-known but at the same time I like that they're relatively unknown and reserved for those of us that appreciate the beauty of the band!
Everyone is talking about Jesse's vocals but honestly I think JT has made just as much improvement and they've really learned to blend the two together
Dude I came to the comments to say exactly this: The cleans from JT, especially at the end of the song are preem; I love the little flips into head voice and am really happy to see how hard he has worked on becoming honestly a great clean singer. His dirty vocals are also fantastic as always and show growth in that area as well. I love seeing the evolution of this band since Augment, it really is amazing.
Right! As soon as I read that lyric I went to the album to see when it was made and I was like okay, because for some reason I just assumed it was older than 2001.
As a huge ERRA fan since Andromeda, all I can say is that I am incredibly impressed and so proud of what these boys have become. They are at the pinnacle of their craft. Can't wait for this album, going to be AOTY, 100%.
I hope you're right. I thought Impulse and Augment were both outstanding, Drift was very good too but maybe a step down, and Neon was pretty underwhelming. I'm a big fan of this song though so I hope they can put it together over the full album.

He plays rhythm while singing. The music vid doesn't count. Maybe he'll play the tapping live when they tour again. The rhythm parts in a lot of their songs aren't braindead tho so it's still nuts.
