@@Remneous Yeah you're not countering the thought that @veeto made though. In saying algebra, Veeto's not addressing anything about melody, harmony, etc. He's addressing the technical supremacy that you also affirmed in Jesse's corner. The soloing take is the debatable depending on the song.
After the heaviness of Snowblood and House of Glass, the mellow sound of this song is a really refreshing change of pace. Their new album is gonna be a banger for sure
When we're finally done with this pandemic shit, I really need y'all to haul your asses to Nordic Europe... perhaps even Finland, haha! But I'm also down for catching a flight just to witness you live. So fuckin' stoked for the new album!
The singles since Eye Of Good are so damn unique, I'm so stoked for this album. Loved Divisionary especially for the cleans and as you said, this kinda chilldown.
They released 2 heavy songs back to back, this is well needed in their Self Titled Album. There needs to be chill grooves along side shredding metal. If this entire album just consisted of shredding, it would not be a contender for album of the year. There needs to be variety.
I am so grateful I discovered erra through your channel, just the smash and the tap, 24/7 with these boys. Their voices really really compliment each other too.
This whole album is such a clear and solid evolution of the newer lineup's sound together. JT and Jesse's vocals compliment each other so well. Jesse and Sean killed it as always--ERRA's brand of tapping just so recognisable and ear-wormy and underrated as hell. Conor getting some good stage time with that chonky bass solo was nice and was a good lead-in to the pivot from a heavier breakdown to the chilldown they went with. Alex's drums, which are also criminally underrated, were catchy and diverse. This man utilises every single piece of the drum kit to its fullest potential in every song and he needs to go down in history for it. I'm doing a lot of blogger talking out of their ass talk, but tie it all together and it honestly makes this my favourite of the singles so far.
First Erra track I've listened to. Those fucking clean vocals over that opening riff hooked me INSTANTLY. Snowblood and House of Glass were great songs on their own but for me this is on a whole other level. The atmosphere, emotion, and chilled out energy were so unique. Very excited to hear more from them
I love these reactions so much, it's like listening to new music together with a friend and I love that, especially in these times and coping through lockdown 🥰🤘 loved the video as always Nik!
I’m a new ERRA fan here. This song is what started me on this path. But I had heard snowblood and liked it. But Divisionary is what made me check out more of their stuff. Holy shit how did this band go under my radar until now.
this song kind of reminds me of when as I lay dying started to really push their sound and just build on what was working and make it stronger. Erra is getting to a juggernaut level and I love it
Really really love this one, probably my favourite note for the soft side but it really got something that's really smooth in the sound. There's a link between every parts and I feel like the sound is more open Jesse really aced guitar and vocals for sure
No breakdowns or anything and I think this song is my favorite off the upcoming album. Especially when you read the lyrics. Super powerful song. Love it.
This was definitely an amazing change of pace, this is exactly why ERRA is one of my favorite progressive metalcore bands, honestly they're at the top, jesse is definitely guitar playing and clean singing goals for me 😩
I love this channel because you go straight to the point. Your opinions are professional ones, and you don't waste time on the intro. Please react to LANDMVRKS, rainfall or lost in a wave :D
I need Nik to react to Covet. Sure it's not modern core but there's a lot to admire in their songs. This particular song is a bit derivative imo. Nothing particularly new but still ok.
JT has been working on his cleans for a little while, i started noticing them when they did the QOTSA cover. I think they’re really nice, Jesse must be teaching him
Ok I'm definitely gonna listen to the new album, I knew them with Snowblood and I can totally appreciate the amount of variety they've shown so far in these three singles
This song to me reminds me a lot of Garden in the Bones by Periphery. It felt like the odd one on the album but still a banger, just appreciate it in a different way. So so soooo excited for this album!

Ok, let's be honest. @0:50 you asked '' How can he sing and do that at the same time?'' which I totally agree with. And the answer is probably: practice and a talent to compose. Next thing I've done was checking on some numbers. This combnation of singing and tapping is something that I've already seen in a song ''Only Child'' by the band called Three. Later on I figured out that, despite ERRA released Divisionary a day ago, has 4 times more views than aforementioned one which is from 2011. My point is: It's kinda funny that we respect talent more during these times, when ''reaction'' videos give a well deserved credit to the bands and artists, but at the same time some of the bands and performers are forgoten because... they existed in wrong day and age? This comment was only an observation and I'm sure that there are a lot of people seing it from a standpoint: ''We knew about the talent along ago, but we obviously weren't vocal enough about it''
*Beyond stoked for this album*
Ghost Iris - Paper Tiger. Check it dude!
Lost in a Wave - Landmvrks???
For the love of everything metal please review remnant. The solo is so bluesy but at the same time reminds me of polyphia
Erra's already given us the smash. I think this one shows their talent at the other end of the spectrum
jesse is like if synester gates passed algebra
And calculus.

Thank you for blessing us with this take. We are all much better for it.

Exactly what I think. Well said. Can't wait!
Preach!
Gives me that drift vibe so hard. Fuck yes
"magnum opus" as Jesse said.
THE NUMBERS, NIK! WHAT DO THEY MEAN?
Nik: That's just the tabs in the background.
My dudes really are seriously talented
Jesse cash is the most underrated guitarist
How is he underrated? I've only read awesome comments about him every time.
@@sergiarilla8608 Probs just isn’t popular enough, he deserves more attention
i dont think hes underrated, he shreds and its known.
Honestly one the most talented in the gane right now. Absolutely mind blowing
Been saying this for years! He's one of my favorite guitarist and such a nice guy!!

Nik: "Certified Banger 1000/10"
ERRA is so fucking dynamic, I can’t get enough of them.
I haven't had an Erra song give me chills since Irreversible
I get kind of a Periphery/ Fit For a King mix from this. Pretty cool stuff. Definitely a banger!

My favorite single is DEFINITELY snowblood, that breakdown at the end just hits toooooo hard
ERRA the masters of tapping riffs
Loved this track, they delivery smash regularly i really needed this chiller more tappy beautiful side
Nik: I want more smashes!
Erra: Hey big guy. Sun's gettin real low...
This song adds so much complexity to their upcoming album
Also getting massive Saosin vibes on this
My wife asked if it was saosin 10 seconds in lol
Yeah definitely.
I’m pretty sure saosin was one of their biggest influences other than Misery Signals
Dude, your positivity is contagious, kudos my friend :)
Jesse's vocals sound more similar to when he's doing vocals for ghost atlas this time and hey I wont complain, I love me some ghost atlas
they're so good
Lmao i was just listening to sacred organs by them before hearing this song
Reminds me more of impulse/ augment jesse
Ghost Atlas FTW
I'm so happy we got a release date! I'm deathly certain Erra's gonna be my album of the year this year.
song has grown on to me so much. its honestly a top 3 for me now. prob because like u said, its more chill and different. they did excellent job

beautiful song
amazing chorus
yes, actuary i want the chorus once more after the break
I'm loving the cleans from JT. Such a nice voice
That was pretty dang epic to be honest. How the heck he sings like THAT and performs his tapping without hesitation in crazy.

with the way these singles are turning out.... this new album is bond to be my favorite erra
Fuckin love ERRA man, honestly one of my fave bands of all time!
I don't know how I've listened to this song so many times, yet after watching this video I realized how much I agree with Nik saying... "That's it?"
Nik be like:
"N-no breakdowns? Is- is this even a song?!"

Erra are one of the finest things to ever happen to music.
Absolutely beautiful

I was so hoping for a solo. But the lead singer playing some hard riffs and singing is impressive.
I'm a guitar player and i love the tapp riff BUT the bass in 2:56 HOLY SHIT ! THE BASS What bass is that ?
ERRA is the only band I've ever heard Nik give props to the bassist.
This band has never disappointed me.
Ooh, didn't expect this today.. Nice!
Love it! Changing it up!
You know it's Erra you're in for a BANGER!!!
