I'm retired from Warner Bros. Television in Burbank, California. I can say this is a "WELL PRODUCED" video. Top notch, production value! I enjoyed the video! Greetings from Hollywood, California!
this video is incredibly well made. I purchased my first Duesenberg Starplayer TV+ a few weeks ago and have so much appreciation to the production quality. It's an instrument that inspires me and for that, I'm grateful. BRAVO to the entire team that put this together. I'm your newest fan!! :)
I am living in Chiang Mai Thailand and though I’ve run across many great guitarists here it is a bit of a guitar desert when it comes to quality instruments. Of course you can import but with import tax and duty approaching 30%. Amazingly, I was able to locate what was the only Duesenberg in Thailand at the time. I was happy to pay a new price for a like new Duesenberg Double Cat in black but without the extra $1,000 for shipping and duty which made it affordable for me. I absolutely love my Double Cat! Being an ex career violin maker, I really appreciate your attention to detail from all of your skilled and dedicated luthiers. Fantastic!!! Thank you Duesenberg !!!
I bought my black Starplayer TV back in 2004, and I still get stunned by it's beauty every time I open the case. After 19 years, it has developed a unique mojo, and I am so grateful to Duesenberg for bringing these amazing guitars into the world.
@arnold1412 Don't have any pics that I can link to, but I'm sure yours will age very well. The binding on mine has gone a little bit more yellow, and the nickel hardware is a bit darker. But it's nothing unpleasant and gives it more character. It sounds so much better than brand new ones in the shops, though. Has a kind of mellowness about it.
I'm the proud owner of 3 Duesenberg models (Falken, Joe Walsh Alliance, Double Cat). Seeing the meticulous craftsmanship that goes into these guitars is inspiring. You make amazing instruments.
I bought my 2015 blue sparkle Starplayer TV from the Guitar -Place in Germany. What blew my mind, is that I got it less than 24 hours after I purchased it. From Aschaffenburg Germany to NC in one day! With that said, it is one of my favorite guitars. It plays easily, stays intonated and the trem is the smoothest you'll ever play. The Grand Vintage HB is a fantastic sounding pickup.
With the exception of the few, other guitar makers are now on notice. this is what it takes to make a great guitar and we the players demand and expect no less. I'm personally a little late to the show but since getting my Fullerton stardust just a short time ago I've become a fan. great video, great guitar...
This is the best making of video I've ever seen. Although Duesenberg guitars are not really my kind of guitars (I'm kind of 80s superstrat fan) I admire the quality of the product.
Wonderful job!! so grateful to be able to watch this process from start to finish. I have been the proud owner of a Caribou for around 5 years and it is my desert island guitar. Would love to also pick up a Starplayer!!
This video just might be one of the greatest videos I’ve ever watched. The day I’ll become a proud owner of The One guitar I fell in love with, that day, hopefully, comes soon. Not a minute too soon… Looking forward to becoming a full part of the Duesenberg family! Love, respect and admiration from Croatia! 😎❤️🎸
A couple of years ago I thought of buying an ES 335. My son who's a professional musician suggested I look at a Duesenberg which I had never heard of other than the cars. I became intrigued with the Gran Majesto but also fell in love with the looks of a butterscotch Caribou. I bought them both. Such quality. Even the cases are the best I've ever had. Sign
I own two Starplayers since 2011 or 2012. After this Video and seeing the process how they are made, I value them even more. These are very solid made instruments and a pleasure to play. Even after 10 years of playing, nothing gets worse on these guitars. Try one out to see what I mean.
Wonderful video. Now we can finally put to rest the issue of where Duesenbergs are made. (Not that I care... I would love to own one!). Beautiful guitars.
very dedicated people ,also good voice , perfect english , inteligent guitar music on the backround , nice colours of the guitars , ( lively) and good guitars !
The first time I ever heard of Duesenberg was when I had the good fortune to talk to Robbie McIntosh backstage at a John Mayer concert. He was very complimentary of the brand. (And a very nice guy to boot.)
I've owned my Palermo for over a year now and it's an absolute keeper. Makes other manufacturers custom shop productions seem rather ordinary. Everything about this guitar has a touch of class
I've been considering a number of ‘ big brand’ hollow bodied electric guitars. I already own a lovely Guild Starfire. After watchingnthis video I'm convinced that my money is going to be best spent on a new TV from these guys at Hannover!! 21:34
Really good video showing just what goes into these fine instruments... my Starplayer beautiful as it is wasn't finished very well in Germany though the Croatian aspects was top notch (give the guys some PPE and Duesenberg work clothing). Duesenberg guitars are wonderful...don't let your standards drop as production increases.
Bought my limited edition candy red Caribou in Paris in 2017, and it’s the best guitar I’ve ever owned. Love the video. Thank you for producing such amazing instruments.
Classy! Bought my Starplayer 'Rebound' a couple of years ago - exquisite instrument and great for writing as well as playing . . . excellent video, learnt a lot about the process!
I love the use of the rule of three concept in the designs. Such a clever touch! Esteja alerta para as regras dos três O que você dá, retornará para você
well done Duesenberg , very good video and amazing the process of building those beauties, we love you didn't went to Eastern countries not because some type of racism or any other thing but the important thing to keep production in Europe is first to give job to those amazing artists that are the builders , each one of them , since the first that cuts the wood to the last luthier to set the guitar , keeping alive the required craftmanship , and secondly to elevate the standards of what an expensive instrument should be, today some brands are charging ridiculous amounts of money for line production guitars that are basically the same instrument with small improvements from those made on Eastern countries.
Espectacular, gran vídeo. Y como tal publicidad de vuestro trabajo me habéis despertado interés por este instrumento y tal vez lo compre que es lo importante. Great Job!
Yes, we are long time Duesen-players, and still fans. Now, question to all here: Anyone here has played a Julia, the one with the tricky switch down the middle? I'd be curious about a quick experience check.
Where something is assembled is where it is built. It is NOT where the parts are made. If that was the case then most Swiss watches are not actually Swiss made, because most Swiss watches use Chinese parts. If it is assembled in Germany - and it is - then it is made in Germany, period. Regardless of where the parts are from. I don't understand all those dumb forum posters who keep complaining that the parts come from somewhere else (maybe in Korea etc) it doesnt matter where the parts are from. It is assembled in Germany is what is important.

Another American job stolen from open borders
Now I'm even more proud for owning a Duesenberg Starplayer TV, because it is preproduced in my country
I just found out too !!
Same here 💪🏻
me also because im from Varazdin :)
Next level guitar building for these guitars, They are the Rolls Royce of guitars.
Except nothing but perfection.
Zivjeli Hrvatski Majstori :-) Pozdrav svima Nikola

Thank you for finally coming clean about the Croatian production, we have waited for 20+ years for this!
I love my Duesenbergs even more now... thanks
Würde ich immer wieder kaufen!!!!! 💪👍 I love my Duesenberg!!!
It is by far the highest quality guitar I've ever owned .
Best guitar I own. Perfect intonation and playability. Love it! Very inspirational ❤🔥
I bought my Session Man Duesenberg last October and it's amazing! Cheers DG!!

do you have any pics? got one from 2015 wondering how it will age - cheers!

@@mr.s5333 that's amazing, was wondering if it will age nicely, sometimes I wish it was nitro but I guess the pur lacquer will protect it bit more :).
Just bought a Paloma last week. What a freaking dream. You guys are masters.
Quite a few years now that I went in for a Gibson and came out with a Duesenberg CC. Absolutely love it. So dynamic and inspirational.
We were honored to have been a key dealer for these incredible instruments for several years. Super video and the narrator!!

Absolutely beautiful ! They aren’t cheap. They are some of the nicest guitars made.

Beautiful video work - kudos to the team!
My Starplayer TV Hollowbody is happy to see its origin. Thanks Andy for a great setup.
Underrated guitar brand. They made guitars with unique character like Falken the bad ass guitar 👌
What an awesome company and process! im glad I own a Duesenberg Starplayer TV Outlaw.
Such wonderful instruments. 🎸
Since I bought my Bonneville back in 2018 it´s my no.1 - thanks a lot guys for that great guitar!
I live in Hannover, I own a Düsenberg and my flat was visible in the video. couldn't be happier at this point :D
No wonder they all play brilliantly. I own two and love the consistent feel they both have.
Wonderful job!! so grateful to be able to watch this process from start to finish. I have been the proud owner of a Caribou for around 5 years and it is my desert island guitar. Would love to also pick up a Starplayer!!

I got this recommended to me while on vacation in Croatia. Duesenburgs are awesome!!!
You guys blow my mind 🤯what a beauty blue girl

I am lucky to own a Duesenberg for 10 years now. The neck is really perfect.

I 🖤 my OUTLAW 🤘 and this amazing video 👌👏. Thanks 🙏
Even more proud to be the owner of a Starplayer TV now. Amazing video.
Wonderful video. Now we can finally put to rest the issue of where Duesenbergs are made. (Not that I care... I would love to own one!). Beautiful guitars.
The question is where they always made in Croatia or did they move from South Korea to Croatia the last years?
C’est beau

I now know why my starplayer TV is such an incredible instrument. What a brilliant video!
This is rad!
Thanks for the tour! Great stuff.

Seems like a quality piece.. going to try one today and see if it speaks to me…
I had to grab my Duesenberg right after watching this amazing video. So great instrument.
Still rocking my DMC since 2010. It's been my trusted go to guitar whenever I play out.
Classy! Bought my Starplayer 'Rebound' a couple of years ago - exquisite instrument and great for writing as well as playing . . . excellent video, learnt a lot about the process!
Superbes instruments! Il ne reste plus qu'à être à leur hauteur 😅
Awesome vid. Sometimes I will own one of those beautiful
babies.
Amazing tool, amazing video.
I will save up to buy one of these! Duesenberg! 😍
Excellent and awesome guitars
Great doc on making of a Duesenberg. Proud owner of a double cat 🤘🎸🤘
Perfect guitars. I have a Mike Campbell StarPlayer so I just imagine that was mine being built

so basically all Dusenbergs are "custom" shop guitars. this vid really makes me wanna get one 😇
Agree. That s ultimately what we re getting ...
Amazing! Thoroughly enjoyed that. Absolutely love my 2018 Starplayer TV. Brilliant work!
That is one beautiful guitar. I can really appreciate all the hard work and attention to detail that goes into it!
Amazing video. I love your guitars and will get one someday.
Have a Senior. Love it!
A beautiful guitar, the Senior is perfection in its simplicity.
Nice guitar Brad, I'm envious. 👍
Loves this video, and now loves my Starplayer TV+ even more. 🖤💜❤
Awesome video, awesome guitar!!

Nice!
Well, I guess this puts to bed the debate about where Duesenbergs are made.
A few years ago Dusenberg stated the bodies and necks came from Asia and they are put together in Germany.
Espectacular, gran vídeo. Y como tal publicidad de vuestro trabajo me habéis despertado interés por este instrumento y tal vez lo compre que es lo importante. Great Job!
I own the Falken for a reason
I love my Duesenberg Triton
Yes, we are long time Duesen-players, and still fans. Now, question to all here: Anyone here has played a Julia, the one with the tricky switch down the middle? I'd be curious about a quick experience check.
Waiting for my Duesenberg Starplayer TV Semi-hollowbody Electric Guitar - Vintage Orange on back order. Love my Fairytale lap steel I just received!
For me-the only thing left is to find a dealer within driving distance. Well produced video on a guitar soon to be added to my collection!
Freaking awesome video. Makes me want to get my hands on one. It almost looks too perfect though. I’d be afraid to play it.
Gorgeous
Awesome work
so good!
Senior ‘52: the best neck in the range !
my favorite film in 2023
I love my Starplayer TV Deluxe. My best playing guitar.
Fenomenal ❤🔥
Many I respect love these instruments perhaps I will own one at some time
So nice

Sold! I'll take two please.
I saw Joe Walsh playing a Starplayer TV in mother of pearl finish on Live From Daryl's House. Most beautiful guitar I've ever seen.
