What's amazing is that all the laging strength necessary to avoid these basic problems is built up in just a few minutes with a few simple exercises. Unless the strength and muscles are there and just need to be activated; but it usually takes much longer than one few minutes session to build up strength in a particular muscle.

Yes you are right most people shouldnt replicate him but I dont think thats at all what he is trying to push onto people. His book cant hurt me I reccomend it will help you see more from his point of view. Even if you dont take inspiration from him, it is facts that many others have and changed their own lives due to his influence. His body was falling apart already when he was 300 lbs and abusing alcohol/dealing with trauma, this is his way of finding control in life im sure and its built his career. Of course its crazy but you know you respect it.

That is EXTREMELY relevant because he went from elite level athlete, to fat guy, back to elite athlete. Getting back into shape after getting out of shape is WAY easier that getting into shape for the first time. If you are 300lbs and you've never been an elite athlete, you CANNOT DO what Goggins did. If you were an elite athlete, then ballooned up to 300lbs in a short time, then tried to get back in shape, the yes, you could do what Goggins did. It wasn't a miracle induced by his sheer power of will, although he would want you to believe it to be

according to these clips all you need to do is some external rotations with a 2lb weight and band after about 3 minutes ur rotator cuff will be 250% stronger
@5milemacc737 that's all we ever need. Physical therapy and finding the specific cause, doctors are trained to get the money and most are completely brainwashed to think it's the only way. Don't listen to your doctor until you have researched for yourself
Im an acrobat and bboy and this injury has been really stalling my training for the pastonth. I recently was doing one handed swings and injured my rotator cuff, and all these symptoms are exactly the same. Pain in the front of shoulder when hanging, tightness in the "armpit" and not being able to retract my scapula. After a month the pain didnt fully go away so i knew i had some strengthening to do but didnt know where to start. Thank you thank you 🙏❤️
I started doing banded external rotation for my winged scapula. That exercise gave me such a "hurts so good" burn that I've added it to my lifts, thanks.
After getting my IT band back to normal last year, it made me realize that almost everything can be fixed without surgery if you’re willing to put forth the effort to rehabilitate with PT.
Anyone who thinks stuff like this is bogus, find a solid trainer/rehab expert. Occasionally, I may overwork or incorrectly work my shoulder causing pain on my bench and other relater exercises. He gets the band, we work for literally 1-3 minutes and the pain is gone. Not less...gone. And Goggins is the strongest forged human on the planet. God Bless you all.
Eight years later, after a suprasinitus tear, severe calcifaction and severe bursits, along with major muscle imbalances. Persistence, lots of rehab and physio, starting from zero mobility. I am now doing dead hangs and lat pull downs. Persistence and patience and dedication is key. Im feeling really good and strong again now and realise the importance of dead hangs. Just today in the gym I loved the stress on my forearms. These types of exercise worked wonders on my recovery.

This seems to really help with getting better at pull-ups. I did 5 seconds and 1 pullup using different hand holds repeatedly til I felt like I got a work out.

This was an amazing video, but it got me thinking. When you're pressing in on both sides of a patient, to determine a weaker side, how is your stronger side? Not influencing that? And I'm not coming at you, I just want to be clear, I just wonder is there like a robot that does this to determine accuracy? Or are you just a well-balanced strength applier? Just some thoughts, would love to get your feedback
I need PT again. I have not found a mobility specialist were i moved to 15 years ago. Sports medicine. I have fibro, and all my life been in pt, but the ones ive had since i got here, dont do what they did. Theyvweent "Nice" lol beat the crap out if me, then id beat the crap outta me, then i got muscle beat ( deep tissue massage) then lay down 20 minutes imagining the heal and outcome. Last four since covid, havent been, they just lifted the shot mandate to attend. So the pt here has to start at their level this time I have these type of pain all over, and my body craves the Beat Down. Anyone who has fibro. It hurts to tone and stregthen muscle tendon and ligaments but weak muscles hurt MORE that stregthened/ toned. Pt will always increase pain begore it gets better, about three weeks eorth. And only YOU can do the work. Only you can get through that fire. But once you do, and keep it up by giving yourself 45 minutes a day to be in your head, you will eventually crave it.
I like Goggins. For sure. But you get a lot more out of a pull-up by engaging those scapula first, going chest to bar, controlled, no momentum, then lowering all the way, disengaging scapula. It doesn’t look as sexy for a video, but I don’t know nor care how many pull-ups I can do. It ruins the point for me. But do know I can easily crank out 10-12 pull-ups with 45 lb weight, chest to bar, slow and controlled. Building pulling strength for calisthenics/climbing is my goal.
Bro, where can I find a physical therapist that is actually this thorough? I tried talking to my physical therapist from my worker's comp broken ankle about my back and neck pain, and they just gave me the same stretches google does after I described the problems without any tests.

I do that rubber band one as a warmup every day before i do the windmill with a kettlebell/dumbbell. A killer combo together to loosen up.
