*In preparation for Starfield.* Bethesda are up there with Rockstar as one of the developers I've covered most on this channel. With Starfield finally out, I wanted to take a trip down memory lane and show some of my favourite easter eggs from their games. I haven't played Starfield yet, so I'm excited to see new secrets they have hiding for us! (spoiler alert: it might not be much, i checked)
Thank you! Someone made a mod for New Vegas which puts the weapon in the game. I couldn't get it into Fallout 3, so I downloaded a mod that lets you play F3 on New Vegas' engine.
@@FunWithGuruIt's so cool that you put in that much effort for something so small, really sets you apart. I also loved the ending, looking up at the stars, so so good!!
The amount of hours I’ve spent in Skyrim exploring dungeons, caverns and forests, I’ve never had the thought of looking behind a fireplace to find a carefully detailed potato Glados
It's my favourite easter egg in the game and I only found it like 2 years ago. It's hard to find becuase you only access that area once in the game. You have to use console commands to go back, like I did.
The transition from New Vegas to Skyrim with the music hit me so hard. Really brings back all the good memories I have of playing that game for the first time. Thanks for the quality videos. Your channel has always been one of my favorites.
Thanks so much! I forgot how amazing the Skyrim soundtrack was. I had a hard time picking which track to use there because there are so many that made me nostalgic.
A sad easter egg, and really more like a tribute to Adam Adamowicz, was the concept art room in Fallout 4's Creation Club DLC "Capital Wasteland Mercenaries", where you return to Galaxy News Radio in DC to assist the "Good Fighters" against the Talon Mercs trying to take over the radio station. While the mod is fanservice overall, there is a room within GNR that is filled with the beautiful concept artwork of Fallout 3 by Adam Adamowicz, that shows that he was THE concept artist that made Fallout 3 so special visually, along with skyrim, before passing away too soon.
Most gamers play the game to “game”. They don’t constantly replay it to find little secrets. A million seems like a lot but there are hundreds of millions of players. Just because you guys go searching for Easter eggs doesn’t mean that EVERYONE searches for Easter eggs. That’s all I meant. My bad boys.
7:27 is a personal favorite. The story goes that the dev working on that section of the game was a Duke graduate, so he named the character Tarhiel, a play on the mascot of Duke's rival UNC. Growing up in NC you'd know just how big that rivalry is.
The editing in this video was gorgeus, congratulations. The audio edit, cropping I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire, to introduce Fallout 3, already made me smile and leave a like, then I got so glad to see all the comments praising your work from long-time subs. UA-cam nailed it with this recommendation!
The cut at the end while the MC is looking at the sky full of stars is just beautifully directed, hats of to you guru! Been a fan of your since around 2012 always been nice to see your content growing up
No need to watch the full video to tell it is going to be another one of your hundreds of masterpieces; I know you've been told the same thousands of times, but you're one of the very best content creators on this platform.
Yooo, you've got good music taste! I'm not talking about the songs you featured from the games radio either. The other tracks you used to edit this outside the games are class. And you use Aphex Twin in your latest RDR2 video... What a man you are haha.
I'm willing to bet that the Lincoln head Brahmin being in Fallout:NV was a mistake. That Brahmin model is from Fallout 3 and was used for a quest wherein a caravan returns the head to the monument. Since the two games share an engine and many assets, it's likely that a developer accidentally placed down the wrong Brahmin model in that location. It wouldn't be the only time such a thing occured with Fallout: NV.
Also fun fact - the Constellation logo in Starfield is based on the alternate Fallout history's version of NASA's logo (called the USSA) as seen in the astronaut suit in Fallout 3's Mothership Zeta, as well as in Fallout 76
I just looked it up and that's a really interesting theory! I believe people looked into it and it seems more likely it was influenced by a NASA patch from 1988. I really hope there's a USSA reference in Starfield though!

Your videos bring me a calm that is nearly unmatched. Something about the energy man, its a lil hippy dippy but I truly do wanna say thank you for the effort you put into these, never fails to be just a damn pleasant experience.
The "You look nice today!" easter egg in Fallout 4 spawns a pretty tough sentry bot when you open the door, which is arguably a bigger f*ck you than the previous one in Fallout 3
One of the first references in the series I caught was in New Vegas. However, it wasn't the Indiana Jones reference. It was the Star Wars 1977 release, where Uncle Owen and his wife got burned to death. I found it right inside of Nipton, and had to look it up to make sure I wasn't crazy! Needless to say it was that and the Holy Hand Grenades (from Monty Python and the Holy Grail) in the basement of a building in Camp Searchlight.
