What an epic battle. That part where TheSeed not only purposefully, but strategically held back his queens to give the banshees a false sense of accomplishment was really commendable. Some edge of your seat gameplay we had here. A once in a lifetime viewing experience. Truly.
Qikun Xiang It always is. I don’t think there is a video in this series which has concluded IMBALANCE, because you can always find mistakes. Having mistakes doesn’t mean your opponent’s race isn’t imba
@@spencerx7963 It's not about whether there are mistakes or not, even pro games have mistakes. It's about whether the "imbalanced" thing could have been beaten with minimal skill. No, not pro skill, not Serral-level micro, just doing the minimal thing you're expected to do to counter a strategy. It's like calling Protoss "imbalanced" because cannon rushes exist. A cannon rush isn't an automatic win, and if it's not done at a level printf does it, then you don't need to be a pro to break it, and actually come up on top. But people are bad, so cannon rushes work sometimes. Doesn't make them imba.
@@spencerx7963 The thing is, it's not just an analysis of the person's skill. The person is allowed to make a claim as to what caused them to lose, and Harstem actually explains how they could have countered it. For instance, if someone lost to a cannon rush, and sent their replay going "cannons are imba", then Harstem could explain how to correctly counter a cannon rush. This is an important element of this series. If it was just generally commenting on people's mistakes, and not evaluating how much one specific element contributed (or didn't contribute) to the loss, then it wouldn't be "Is it imba or do I suck", it would just be angry coaching.
I was 32 when I started watching this video. It just finished and I am 85 now. I watched the entire game. I think we should appreciate the game knowledge bombs displayed in this game. Not only does the Terran know exactly how many nukes it takes to kill a hatchery, the Zerg metagames him by getting a second lair.
“It’ wasn’t just regular suck”. “Doh’t ever send me a replay again...”. Bawhahaha, the funny thing is they both sucked!! Loved the last 5 minute roast.
Harstems personality is perfect for this series. Just started watching him, he is hilarious. Also this shit makes me feel like I can be gm after not playing since Wings

In this game we get to see an ancient philosophical question finally played out. What happens when the immovable object meets the immovable object? This game dragged on so long that I went afk and forgot to pause the video. To make a long (But not as long as this game) story short, I started a family up and got to see my kids grow into adolescence before realizing I left the video unpaused. I came back to see a broken, sobbing man questioning every decision he made that lead him to watching this horrible, horrible game. I could tell by the utter emptiness in his eyes and the despair in his voice that the last of his sanity had left him long ago. I knew that I had just missed something horrible, but that all too human sense of morbid curiosity kicked in. I had to see it for myself. So I rewound the video. My family thought I had abandoned them. I missed the graduation ceremonies of all my kids and missed their acceptance letters into college as I watched this shitshow of a game. TheSeed, you need to uninstall starcraft II. Seriously. It's bad enough that you decided to subject the terran player to this nonsense, but then you have the audacity to subject Harstem and all of us to it? I'm truly serious when I say uninstall this game. I don't want you to ever accidentally click on it again when you really meant to click on Sim City.
it looks like one of those Starcraft 1 I used to play when I was in high school, we even were just playing the demo but were like, we build huge fleets of battlecruisers and when ready smash into each others except here is a terran and a zerg
I dont want to watch the video again just to get the exact words that were used, but there was a point like "did he sent me a replay of a game he won? Did i just get baboozled?" Well... no, but yes. LMAO
Hey Harstem, in fact for me as a zerg it was actually helpfull. I as a platinum player never use spellcasters because control issues, but I guess after that video I will probably actually use them against air toss or terran. Parasitic bombs actually deal damage to capital ships as well as ships with low HP, which is sick. Watched a whole game, that death of BCs due to corruptors and parasitic bombs was actually awesome to me. It was like a perfect tutorial on unit compositions to engage those braindead air doom armies. I usually just leave or basetrade when I see that shit.
Kevin my sir you deserve a like from every single person who ever watched this video, just for suffering through this replay. I don't know what's the bigger torture about this game - theseed's overall gameplay - The terran being so overly passive that even after beating TheSeed's entire army and still having like 20 battlecruisers, still just staying in base and not do any counterattack or damage to any of the zerg's bases within any circumstances - or the simple fact that TheSeed thought that the opponent's build was broken after sucking massive dick for over 50 minutes. All the respect to you for suffering through this. even I would've quit watching this game after the 5 minute mark. cheers mate.
37:28 You know, teleporting the BCs onto the lings isn't the *worst* idea, but perhaps only teleport half of them? That way the lings can't retreat without passing under half the fleet.
@40:58 As Harstem's facepalming at the unnecessary nydus and extra turret being built :') Surely these guys sent this game in to troll the poor lad lmfao
The one-time Harstem took a page out of wintersc2's handbook, did 6 minutes of a harrowing angry coach video without swearing, and then went on with his day. He even did it without swears, it was pretty crazy.
"I feel like both of them accidentally went to do a multiplayer game"

Really late but it's at 33:52
Hey Harstem, in fact for me as a zerg it was actually helpfull.
That was the most intense and hardcore SC2 game I have ever seen!!!
And the sarcasm of the caster was on point too ;-)
I can't believe I've watched this until the end, as my lifetime is limited. And I'm a big fan of those 10h-Driving-in-the-Rain-Videos ...
I Don t know why I watched this 9 months later but the commentary was worth it XD
Kevin my sir you deserve a like from every single person who ever watched this video, just for suffering through this replay.
I don't know what's the bigger torture about this game
- theseed's overall gameplay
- The terran being so overly passive that even after beating TheSeed's entire army and still having like 20 battlecruisers, still just staying in base and not do any counterattack or damage to any of the zerg's bases within any circumstances
- or the simple fact that TheSeed thought that the opponent's build was broken after sucking massive dick for over 50 minutes.
Hi Harstem, I had to wait for a process to finish on my machine so I sat through it with you too. I feel your pain my friend. Its real.
Bro... I can't with you 😂. Your commentary is golden. I'm really glad I started following you.
@40:58 As Harstem's facepalming at the unnecessary nydus and extra turret being built :') Surely these guys sent this game in to troll the poor lad lmfao
This was one of the funniest matches I have ever seen, great job
The one-time Harstem took a page out of wintersc2's handbook, did 6 minutes of a harrowing angry coach video without swearing, and then went on with his day. He even did it without swears, it was pretty crazy.
This and the Deadward one are the two funniest videos I have seen this year. Keep up the good content.
PS - Wasnt another TheSeed video
Thanks for doing this btw Harstem. I could sense the physical agony in your voice while you were assessing this guy's mechanical skill.
