Best video on YT. Straight and to the point. Some of the videos on how to install the same door are 20 minutes long or longer. So unnecessary. Great videos sir!
Thank you sir for your assistance and inspiration. I just Installed my door today, a couple of hours ago. Mine was inside my garage with a small step up. I run a board across the top as a shim and my jack underneath as a balance. From there, marking, drilling, and leveling. One more to go on the patio.
I just bought a nice looking Security door at Homedepot. Someone is charging me 600.00 to install it. I have a screw gun and a level, what more do it need?. I think i could do this. Step #1 set screen door on top of wood spacers. Step #2 Pre drill back ,set metal. Step #3 set front metal, pre drill, set. Step #4 pre drill top. Make sure everything's level. Thanks for the encouragement!! By the way, i like your impala low Rider!!
Very helpful video. Can you tell me what type of bit you are using to tighten those security bolts in place? It doesn't look like a standard screwdriver bit. Thanks!
Buenas tardes Noe, im in need of one for my apartment, can you recomend one easy install? Also does the drill piece for the bolts come with the door or would I buy that apart?
Thanks for not showing you going to the store and buying it, or explaining the history of security doors. So many bs videos full of nothing but fluff. Good job, and thanks for showing your work 👍🏻
what are you screwing the security door screws into? the thin jam wood on the interior door or did you have to put up trim board to screw security door bolts into?
Make sure the doorknob on the security screen door does not interfere with the doorknob on the inside door. If they do interfere with each other, you will have to flip the security screen door over mounting the security screen door with the doorknob on the opposite side of the inside doorknob.
I tried to install one today following manufacturer directions and used a 3/16 drill bit but the one way screw is stuck after going in for just half an inch. I even added pressure but its not moving at all so i stopped. What am i doing wrong? Do i need a bigger drill bit to drill bigger holes before j put screw in or do i need a hammer drill instead of a regular one?
Why not buy a security mesh door that looks like a screen door so it doesn't come off as ghetto? What are the pros and cons of that versus just a regular security door?
Perfect tutorial, straight to the point, no bs
thanks for the visit

Now can you make a video on installing the handle for the security door
I should have recorded that part.
Does the door sit on the outside trim because my door doesn’t fit inside the door frame.
yes
Thank you for simplicity
You bet!
Very helpful video. Can you tell me what type of bit you are using to tighten those security bolts in place? It doesn't look like a standard screwdriver bit. Thanks!
Most doors come with a bit with the screws
@@mrnoe67tiktok thanks, very helpful!
Thanks bro very helpful 👌
It’s called a one way screw driver.
Thanks man
Realized I have the same exact one

Thank you for making this video. what do you put over the screw so nobody can unscrew them?
The screws are one-way screws, you can't unscrew them

That is my channel 2nd name
Can you please share a link or info on where you got the security door ?
Home Depot
what are you screwing the security door screws into? the thin jam wood on the interior door or did you have to put up trim board to screw security door bolts into?
to the studs behind the trim
Thank you for this video tutorial.
thanks for the visit
Thanks for the great tutorial! I’m going to try this.🧐
Have fun!
Hello one question i have is what is the bit called in the picture that poped up with the screw? Thank you
The bit comes with the door, with the bag of screws
Hello anyone please tell me which size screws to buy for 36x80 metal door?
3"
So all someone needs is an impact driver to take it off?
NO, these are one way screws
Thats how you do a great video.
I appreciate that!
Soon I might get this screen door for my front door maybe like a white or a black one from the the home depot
good
Where did you get the bit to install the screws?
It comes with the screw kit in the door box
Make sure the doorknob on the security screen door does not interfere with the doorknob on the inside door. If they do interfere with each other, you will have to flip the security screen door over mounting the security screen door with the doorknob on the opposite side of the inside doorknob.
Yes, you are correct. thanks for the visit
Thank you and God bless ❤

Thank you for posting!
You bet!
where did you buy the tool to install the screws or bolts ?
It comes with the screen door in the screw package
Do you have to take trim off the frame?
Most doors no.
i was going to have someone else do it but im down for the challenge 😅
You can do it!! thanks for the visit
Thank you it really helped!
thanks for the visit
Do you need the trim?
No, you don't need the top trim.
Thank you so much because now I won't have to pay someone to install it.
you can do it
Hello, how long is that 3/16 inch drill bit?
3 inch
is this the one from home depot?
yes
Yea
Doesn’t the door knobs whack each other ?
No
Bruh I messed up the screws on the side that holds the locks and had to use channel locks to get the one way screws out lmao
yep been there.. thanks for the visit
cool. great job.
Thanks for the visit

You are welcome 😊 thanks for the visit.
Do I measure the frame of the door or the actual door?
the door
Wow great video 😊

You do not want to use a hammer drill. 3/16 bit is the correct size. Not sure.
Was the bit long enough?
drill is probably weak. There are impact drills which have a lot more power to force the screws in.
Is there any specific brand you recommend?
I usually get the mid grade
You may need a new entrance door also
Agreed, There is my next video, stay tuned..
What kind of drill did you use ? Mine isn’t strong enough to put on the non reversible screws
I should have mentioned that old the screen door had lag bolts
Don't use a drill use a driver drills are for making holes drivers are used to drive bolts and screws into wood
Gracias homie.👊 RAZA!💪
thanks for the visit homie
great video.
Thanks for the visit
Good video,no extra bs 😆
thanks for the visit
I wonder what the top piece does. It doesn’t touch any part of the door.
It is just to finish the look of a complete frame, you don't really need it.
Did the lag bolts come w the door or u get those separate?
The bolts come with the door.
How much can you charge people to do this
250
Thank you sir
