Agreed. Kirbo uses most copies better than their users. Kirby with any projectile can up b projectile spam. Kirby also benefits from being able to use them from a longer distance.

And from there we realized we worked really well together and we both really liked the characters. And both matched our play styles pretty well. So for me, it’s more of a sentimental pick

As a Banjo & Kazooie main, i can tell you that the only thing that goes on in my head when i play them is Banjo going "Guh-Huh!" And Kazooie going "Bree!' All the time. And i love it. I waited forever for them to get in Smash, and i don't care how "Boring" they are, they were my most wanted Character and i will die a Banjo & Kazooie main.

As a Kirby main I can say that is 100% accurate. I only use copy abilities when I'm either playing with friends that are bad at the game or when I realize "I haven't used this move in a while, I'll use it once and forget about it for a few years"
It’s just too close range, and if I’m close enough to use it I’d be better off just hitting them than wasting the time to suck them off and then land a SEPARATE attack that I probably haven’t trained to use because there’s like a million characters in the roster. The only time it actually gets any play is if my friend is being a little bitch about spamming me with ranged attacks, and I want to give them a taste of their own medicine by just spamming the exact same attack back.
Coming from me fighting with my cousin who's a Kirby main, it's not completely avcurate, atleast for him. He rarely uses the copy ability, and when he does it's only to get me away from him.
I have a few mains so here's how well I fit into their categories Sora: Wasn't a KH fan at the time, but definitely happy he was revealed as the final dlc character. Bought him and still main him to honor the event of his inclusion. Byleth: Not really a FE fan, but Byleth is just too fun for me to not main them. Dedede: Can confirm I do indeed main him for the crouch Edit: I also main Falco, mainly because I just find him easier than Fox for some reason.
Same for Byleth The character is really easy to use and really fun. Also you can kill bowser at 40% for some reasons (There is no other viable reason to play dedede)
As a Sephiroth main, I would like to comment that I did _not_ pick him for the angsty teen vibe. I just like long sword and a character who has the (subjective) coolest victory screen and the most threatening walk in the game.
The Wolf bit reminded me of the time I took part in a tourney at Comicon. No joke, one of my opponents literally was wearing a purple wolf fursuit, mained Wolf, and even entered his name as Wolf. He played surprisingly well considering the fact that he never took the head off of the suit.
Honestly, that person sounds fun to play with. Rather than try to deny that these things are related, they fully committed to the bit. They’re playing to have fun and make people laugh. I respect that

As a Little Mac main I have to say is what really happens is that we talk about how good he is and how he would be a S+ tier if he had a better recovery.
As a Lucas main, man it feels bad to be mixed with that crowd. I use aerials a lot (desperately trying to get at least one off-stage spike) and genuinely think that PK Freeze is the funniest move in the game to kill with. Imagine, watching your foe glide gracefully into the side blastzones... *Bliss.*
I use lucas for the sole reason that no one knows or expects a lucas main to be devastating when played right In other words, they never see it coming lol
I main Sheik in ult. I hadn't played her since melee, but as soon as I picked her up here I was mesmerized by her updated character design and animations. They feel so polished and flow like water. Sure, I've heard about the nerfs and sometimes I feel late to the party for not having played 4. But in ult she's at her most elegant (and hot) which makes it satisfying to annoy opponents while she teaches me to be quick and confident but patient and cautious. To give myself proper space to react, knowing she'll enable me to whiff punish like no one else. When I tell people at locals I main her, more often than not they respect she's a tough one for a beginner to pick up and want to help me practice! I'm really touched by that because people didn't have a lot of patience to teach me anything growing up, telling me to stick to something simpler and stop asking questions or taking risks. And I will never because that kills my spirit. And based on what I've seen in locals, these are the most casual takes I've ever. That doesnt make em bad or entirely inaccurate, but I'd expect to see these attitudes from more of a party game crowd... and I'd hate to see those labels slapped on the players I've met since I picked up ult
As a proud Little Mac main, you were pretty much dead on. I personally like him because people underestimate him and because he has easily the best ground game out of any character in the game and his horizontal recovery is serviceable enough to make him viable IMO.
Little Mac can’t get back onto battleground to save his life. My friends and I all played as him, once we were hit off the edge it was very very difficult to make it back on. His up special had very little distance and his side is the same.
I like him because I just enjoy how he plays, just feels cool to use. It's also nice to use a character that like no one gets on my case for him being broken
@@Frostorm777 honestly it’s a matter of tons of practice - for me I just make it a point to never let myself fall under the X axis of the stage because his horizontal recovery is pretty good at getting him back on if he’s launched up and to the side. The rest is just dodging and overwhelming your opponent with smash attacks (they all have super armor) and his tilts

I spam Down-B when i play kirbo, not Up-B. Then, I wait for them to attack before un-rocking and flying up for another dive. By waiting for an attack, I can take less damage than normal, and they cant hit me while i fly up.
I'm honestly impressed that Byleth was shown so positively. Also helps that he's a fun character. As for Falco, it's all about the combos. Whether you start with up tilt, down tilt, or a throw you have plenty of options in the air.
every main he has he exclusively said good stuff about (Byleth and Robin included lmao) as well as Pyra/Mythra and Sora. It's kinda a running joke in the video and less of an actual quip lmao.
Falco is picked over Fox because of the broken Down Taunt to Down Smash combo. The only character with a better Down Taunt combo is Ridley, with his Down Taunt to Psychological-Damage combo.
Little Mac main here… I like him because he hits hard and fast… didn’t pick him for “the challenge” but absolutely had a couple rage quits while I was figuring the character out. Once you are comfortable with him in the air… powerhouse
I think that is the only character he got wrong in this whole video. I picked up little mac when I first started playing Smash. Simple character hit hard and bad offstage (I was too scared to go off stage anyways). Use all my B moves and win against my friends in 2-3 hits.
His knockout potential is a thing of beauty. I used to main Ganondorf, but switched to little Mac. I was repeatedly told by people how I went from the worst to the second worst character. And then I’d beat the smash team leader at my highschool while he played sephiroth
I think a more accurate description for lucas is: Used to be a Ness main but got tired of being so lame so they chose a character that is similar to Ness but more hype. Probably likes to spike with the back air. If they spammed pk fire in 1v1s they would be a Ness main

As a ridley main, you forgot that we will spam the grab ground push and abuse it when on a map like the planet or any map that doesnt have a hole or wall. If you dont know the grab stops when it hits a wall or hole so the drag ends up taking you to the end of the map
In Smash 4 I used Pit because I fucking loved the Final Smash of the three sacred treasures. Now I use both, but mainly Dark Pit because I like the 3rd skin.

As one of the few Sheik Mains in Ultimate, I can honestly say I've never touched her in previous games and just picked her up 2019 because I liked her combo-heavy playstyle, and what can I say, she just stuck with me xD I just enjoy how fast-paced and individual her gameplay is, you always discover new ways to string moves together.

The reason why he didn't explain Lucas, He doesn't have PSI Magnet Voice clip so he couldn't said it. If there was a PSI Magnet Voice Clip he would use it just like Ness or Dark Pit.
As a Ness main, i can honestly say that i only use PK fire in extremely desperate circumstances. His combos are insanely good if you know how to use them

Pretty much a guaranteed Stock right there. If they’re heavy, spam Fire until 160% or more, do the same thing as lightweights, win. Coming from a Ness main.

As a Lucas main, I do agree that we sometimes use pk freeze more in 2v2s to help our teammate in tough situations or to edge guard but the toxicity is pretty non-existent unless you're fighting nobodies. That or you started taunting and t-bagging first

I actually still really like Banjo's moveset. A bit basic but gimmicky enough with Wonderwing and Grenades to provide enough variety and a high enough skill ceiling
The Kirby description for me was very true. I occasionally use Kirby's copy if I feel like the opponent's neutral B is particularly useful in a match and they're lacking defensively enough to suck them up, but most of the time I prefer kicking their shins with my punish game. Also up b is a get out of juggles free card.
I am also a little Mac player and the description is what I expected to be like, but no, weirdly he's one of my most successful characters. Turns out people really have a hard time figuring out what to do against a little Mac that refuses to be even mildly close to the ledge in anything less than advantage state. I'm not coming to you, you come to me. If people do know how to fight that though, yeah, he gets bodied quick.

Zelda main here. I love the joke you said about her! I honestly believe that describes 99% of all Zeldas on Quickplay. Once you learn how her specials work, they're easy to rip apart! If anyone wants to use her, first master her normals and movement and then use them in conjunction with her specials. Great video!

As a Luigi main, you forgot the types that spam green missle for misfire, then they'll say "All according to plan" when it works and will also say it's bad when they get punished for wallstuck. Then you have the ones that spam Down Taunt for the insta kill spike the whole game.

Coming from me fighting with my cousin who's a Kirby main, it's not completely avcurate, atleast for him. He rarely uses the copy ability, and when he does it's only to get me away from him.
I have a few mains so here's how well I fit into their categories
Sora: Wasn't a KH fan at the time, but definitely happy he was revealed as the final dlc character. Bought him and still main him to honor the event of his inclusion.
Byleth: Not really a FE fan, but Byleth is just too fun for me to not main them.
Dedede: Can confirm I do indeed main him for the crouch
Edit: I also main Falco, mainly because I just find him easier than Fox for some reason.

The character is really easy to use and really fun. Also you can kill bowser at 40% for some reasons

I main Sheik in ult. I hadn't played her since melee, but as soon as I picked her up here I was mesmerized by her updated character design and animations. They feel so polished and flow like water. Sure, I've heard about the nerfs and sometimes I feel late to the party for not having played 4. But in ult she's at her most elegant (and hot) which makes it satisfying to annoy opponents while she teaches me to be quick and confident but patient and cautious. To give myself proper space to react, knowing she'll enable me to whiff punish like no one else.
When I tell people at locals I main her, more often than not they respect she's a tough one for a beginner to pick up and want to help me practice! I'm really touched by that because people didn't have a lot of patience to teach me anything growing up, telling me to stick to something simpler and stop asking questions or taking risks. And I will never because that kills my spirit.
And based on what I've seen in locals, these are the most casual takes I've ever. That doesnt make em bad or entirely inaccurate, but I'd expect to see these attitudes from more of a party game crowd... and I'd hate to see those labels slapped on the players I've met since I picked up ult

As a proud Little Mac main, you were pretty much dead on. I personally like him because people underestimate him and because he has easily the best ground game out of any character in the game and his horizontal recovery is serviceable enough to make him viable IMO.
Little Mac can’t get back onto battleground to save his life. My friends and I all played as him, once we were hit off the edge it was very very difficult to make it back on. His up special had very little distance and his side is the same.
I like him because I just enjoy how he plays, just feels cool to use. It's also nice to use a character that like no one gets on my case for him being broken

@@Frostorm777 honestly it’s a matter of tons of practice - for me I just make it a point to never let myself fall under the X axis of the stage because his horizontal recovery is pretty good at getting him back on if he’s launched up and to the side. The rest is just dodging and overwhelming your opponent with smash attacks (they all have super armor) and his tilts

I spam Down-B when i play kirbo, not Up-B. Then, I wait for them to attack before un-rocking and flying up for another dive. By waiting for an attack, I can take less damage than normal, and they cant hit me while i fly up.

As a ridley main, you forgot that we will spam the grab ground push and abuse it when on a map like the planet or any map that doesnt have a hole or wall. If you dont know the grab stops when it hits a wall or hole so the drag ends up taking you to the end of the map

The Kirby description for me was very true. I occasionally use Kirby's copy if I feel like the opponent's neutral B is particularly useful in a match and they're lacking defensively enough to suck them up, but most of the time I prefer kicking their shins with my punish game. Also up b is a get out of juggles free card.
I am also a little Mac player and the description is what I expected to be like, but no, weirdly he's one of my most successful characters. Turns out people really have a hard time figuring out what to do against a little Mac that refuses to be even mildly close to the ledge in anything less than advantage state. I'm not coming to you, you come to me.
