Steve is absolutely a giga-cheater character. They combo you twice max to get you to kill percent, block out characters, make people angry, and kill them for it

I guess Mega Man is so honest, Nick thought it wouldn't do his honesty justice putting him in the same tier as Duck Hunt. I mean, there is no way that Nock would forget to rank a character that cheats on a cheating tier list, so obviously Mega Man is honest. Don't worry, I'm not a Mega Man main, but I do like to play him in free-for-alls and other low-stakes battles.
As a Mega Man main I would not put him very high on this list. Actually he may be the very least “cheater” like. All of his projectiles are slow and easily over come by the top characters in the game (Space Trio, Mario’s, Kid Icerus Trio, Ect…). Also none of his moves kill early. Not even his spike kills early and sours very easily. His uppercut is the worst of its kind in the game with smallest and shortest hit box plus least knock back (compare it to Snake up tilt, Luigi up B, Ken and Ryu up B). I’d say Mega may be annoying to a degree but most of his projectiles are outclassed by some other character’s comparable counterpart. Additionally he has no real combos that are practical. Just saying, he isn’t even that annoying in comparison to the worst (zelda, villager, duck hunt, shiek, Little Mac, Ness, Steve…)
How strange...a ninja, the most well known warriors that will stick a knife in your back because you didn't know and gave them a hug (or more for kunoichi (that means female ninja in red spot land)) Shiek is an honest character. It's got to be the Zelda influences.

Two reasons: one) there’s quite a few recoverys that can sneak their way past that, like Mario’s up-b. Two) Ness entire moveset is basically cheating so you can’t really narrow it down to anything in particular
Hiding your moves as a Mii player is frowned upon to say the least. I agree that (at least) Brawler should be up there, but not for the reason Nick gave.
When I play Mii's I be friendly at the start of a match by crouching, move away from my opponent and show what moves I have set for the Mii so they know what they are up against. Seems more fair to me that way.
I agree to the Mii Brawler part. Have you seen how insane the Suplex is? It got armor, grabs, travels AND can be used in the air AND CAN SUICIDE KILL!!!! CPUs using such a Mii are the most annoying pieces of ssss, mostly because they keep getting away with it!
If K. Rool gets his own tier than there would be a tier above for Lucario with how cheater he is. Honestly I made a stage in brawl to take advantage of his cheater mechanic
You forgot to mention Aura Sphere, Lucario's Neutral Special that deals damage while he charges it. And you can shield to store said attack only to resume charging it. At max aura, basically his entire body becomes a multi-attack hitbox

I'm not saying it's bad to have, but it's perfectly adequate for taking up a move slot. -Side b can easily lock him in an incredibly long animation and is heavily unsafe on shield -What are you talking about, his up air is fine? It's certainly 10 times better than his nair -Yeah his recovery and end lag is pretty good, but that is supposed to make up for most of his other flaws, such as his low damage, low weight, bad hitbox on his neutral tool etc., which is why he is such a balanced character. I never said he was bad, I was just making a joke about his awful hitboxes. And cherrypicking good stuff about a character can literally be done with the entire cast.

I think you forgot to include the fact that Hero has the ability to kill you at zero with effectively any move, he can pull items like mega mushroom and invincibility, can turn into an invincible nuclear bomb at any point in the match, turn a third of the stage into a hitbox that can kill at like 20, can one shot shields fairly efficiently, move faster than any character in the game on occasion, has a frame 16 smash attack (flame slash), can put you to sleep immediately, and can recover from anywhere on screen. I’m saying you spawn at kill percent
Not only is he rng: the character, but this rng serves the purpose of giving him as many cheater moves as possible. No wonder there's people who want him banned at tournaments.
@@JacobPDeIiNoNi Pit needs better aerials and more variety to his attacks to better represent his game, but I agree that the bow does need to be nerfed. I mean, in the games it mostly shot straight anyways, so I would make his arrows fly straight, so he will need to get up close to the opponent to edgeguard, leaving him more vulnerable, and the bow should take longer to charge and have less range, which fits Pit's general style more anyways.
Yeah but does it really work in any unexpected way? It's really good, really annoying, and really easy to use, but it's such a basic projectile that it never really cheatw
As a Pit main, you could also mention being able to literally shield in midair with down b and dair being such a weak spike that if you do it onstage, it true combos into smash attacks over 100%
As a Luigi main Luigi has not only a gimp but also 3 invincible moves and a shield break with down tilt down tilt up b but also has a zero to death. Which is why he should be lower for cheater moves
@PixelHero Just watch a good Shulk in bracket. It isn't uncommon for a Shulk to survive a kill move at 190% because it's a multihit (like ZSS boost kick, or Cloud F-smash) and he has enough time to switch to shield art. Shulk is blatantly unfair.
You forgot Dark Pit's side b, which can rob stocks out of nowhere and has (admittedly very inconsistent) super armor. But Pit and Dark Pit's biggest cheater move was one you didn't mention: orbitars. They are a free get-out-of-disadvantage free card, and since the Pits don't receive hitlag, they can sometimes punish you for hitting or breaking the orbitars. To be honest, I think these move Pit and Dark Pit up one more tier.
As an ex-Dark Pit main, Orbitars are not that good. If it retained the Sm4sh Orbitars where they dont shrink, then yes, he would be a cheater. The Orbitars shrink, leaving Pit/Dark Pit open for attack and also straight doesnt even protect his top or bottom
I think Sonic deserves a higher place job the list with the safest move in the game. His side-B is literally unpunishable when used with his up-B. Let’s just ignore the time he cancels side-B and attacks for real. If you shield, you won’t be able to punish if he jumps before the contact as you’ll basically be too slow. If you parry, you’ll need 8 frames to act, but will be out of you range at the 9th frame, and even if you can reach him, his up-B is frame 3, so he’ll get out of range AND punish you for trying to punish Sonic as the remaining spring will hurt you. And also most counters in the game don’t come out fast enough to catch Sonic. Now let’s check something different, Bayonetta’s Witch Time slows the foe, but Sonic doesn’t mind that as his up-B has invincibility on release. You’re simply too slow to punish Sonic. Sonic deserves a higher place in this tier list.
Ridley's side B was also not considered for the instakill bullshit it can be. Unlike ganondorf, if you land it over a ledge, ridley can boot them about halfway down and has the aerial capabilities to get back up. And any match where you can walk to the edge, he drags them and yeets them to the kill zone before they can even fight back. I remember a random single stock stamina match a ganondorf set up on eldin bridge. Fight was over in four seconds. He didn't want a rematch.

As a Yoshi main, my argument with the double jump super armor is that without it Yoshi could easily be cheesed during his recovery, and without an up B recovery, he doesn't have much else going for him.
Ness should be higher imo… up air is a kill move, forward air, back air, down air, all kill moves. He has a killing back throw which you mentioned, but hitting himself with pk thunder can kill at low percentage if he hits you. He has a yoyo that he can suspend off of the edge. To make recovery increasingly difficult. He can neutral air practically out of everything and that also kills
I feel like everyone is still forgetting something. Yoyo is such a busted edgeguard that I see competitors exclusively training which moves beat it or go to ledge through it for multiple hours on end each weekly.
Ah yes as a sonic main I can confirm that the annoyance in the speed plays a big role in his fighting. Having a fight against another sonic is the worst though
ridley should definitely be higher, if you grab someone off a ledge and plummet, you can ensure the stock (At 0%) as most fighters lack the vertical jumps (especially if they already used it) while ridley has three jumps AND and solid up B, and if the arena is eldin bridge (Or any other map where you can walk to the edge) he can drag them over and yeet them at 0%
One of my favorite Smash moments was sitting inside a Plant’s poison gas and using it to switch to charizard and flare blitz for a kill. It was so funny
I'm surprised you didn't mention tough guy when talking about bowser. He gets out of rapid jabs unexpectedly and just ignores moves a surprising amount of the time
That damn back air alone is semicheater, and it's just a better Marth. Math has tippers with terrible hitboxes meaning 90% sourspots. Much more honest if you ask me.
Ok here me out, I’m a Piranha Plant main. Plant is more of a cheater than you should think! You can make Ptooie go further the closer the spike ball is to he face (AKA the further you charge). His Long Stem Strike (down special) has Super Armor while you charge it. If you try to attack from above he will annihilate you with up air, ptooie, and (occasionally) Long stem strike. His edge guarding is broken, he can ruin characters like KRool with Ptooie and if you time it right, you can back air beside him and KILL. Back air is slow but, does a good job at the damage game. If plant was faster, had less ending lag, and had better aerials, he would be much better than C Tier

I feel the Mr. game and watch should be have his own tier above the rest. Be “breaks the rules” his Up B Isn’t super punishable, and is super quick. His down Air is maneuverable, and can be cancelled. Also down and up smash are super quick and hard to punish. To finish up, fair, neutral b, and back air are also broken.
Why was Lucina Neutral-B the only Move that you call "out of the ordinary" while ignoring that stupid Up-B? I think even Chrom is more Honest then Lucina sure that Jab is busted but thats all he got. (Chrom Up-B can have "cheesy" interaction but at least he still dies to utilises it to be "cheesy")

Incineroar’s revenge can actually be really hard to get use out of at times due to the combo of still taking the damage from what you countered, being the slowest character in the game, and getting revenge taken away if you take 30% or get grabbed, so I think they should be a bit lower. They’re absolutely still in Giga Cheater, don’t get me wrong, but I don’t think they’re higher than Peach and Daisy
My favorite part about this list is that it shows my mains got progressively more honest as the series went on: Melee: Ice climbers Brawl: Pit 4 and Ultimate: Lucina (Of course now that the DLC came out I main Sora but I digress cause I wanted him in the game)

As a Yoshi main, I agree on his position as a semi-cheater on the list, having those gimmicks you mentioned. But he honestly could also be placed higher. Off-stage Egg Lay, juggle combos, and N-air can all be unfair in the right situations. …Especially N-air.
7:16 I main Sonic, and you missed the 2 BIGGEST cheats he has: A) His Up-B can DODGE Final Smashes, even at a close-ish range B) His Neutral-B is spamable and broken as heck. In a Sudden Death, it WILL One-Shot ANYONE. [Edit] C) Down/Side-B into Neutral-B or Fair. Thus, in my belief, Sonic should be in the "Blatent Cheater" Tier. Edit: Ok, after a year of more playing, Neutral-B isn't as broken as I said it was. Up-B still cheats tho. Not to mension Fair. I also now believe that Sonic should be in "Cheater" Tier. Edit 2: About his Up-B, the ones he dodges are any that require close range, are projectiles, or are dashes. So most of them.
You forgot to mention the biggest cheater thing ness has that personally makes me think he deserves to be a tier higher. The yoyo at ledge, you're not going to convince me that's not cheap as all hell.
Samus isn't really all that safe on that distance, quicker characters can get in on her easily in the time after she fires if she misses. Since she isn't allowed to have stupid close combat moves like most projectile zoners in this game. Her cheating in my opinion mostly comes from the move bomb, which gets slept on in the casual scene. It lets her cheat on several gamestates in a way not many characters are allowed to. If you play a heavy though I get that her projectiles would be rage inducing too.
10:15 forgot to mention Lucas also has 3 kill throws for some damn reason lol. And d-air can just straight up steal a stock from you if you miss your edgeguard. Also neutral b sends you to another room in your house
I've been told by some people on my esports team that I play "the most honest" tink because I don't like zoning and i normally kill with edgeguards so i guess that coincides with this list.
You never gave ice climbers enough credit. Even though the concept of two characters in one seems like an extremely unfair mechanic, there's also a forbidden technique that only few have the guts to learn. DESYNCING. With this you can have nana hold a smash attack while moving. You can also do infinite freeze combos.

-The second shield only covers to the side and is mostly outclassed by the normal shield outside of the reflector. I'm not saying it's bad to have, but it's perfectly adequate for taking up a move slot.
-Side b can easily lock him in an incredibly long animation and is heavily unsafe on shield
-What are you talking about, his up air is fine? It's certainly 10 times better than his nair
-Yeah his recovery and end lag is pretty good, but that is supposed to make up for most of his other flaws, such as his low damage, low weight, bad hitbox on his neutral tool etc., which is why he is such a balanced character. I never said he was bad, I was just making a joke about his awful hitboxes. And cherrypicking good stuff about a character can literally be done with the entire cast.

I think you forgot to include the fact that Hero has the ability to kill you at zero with effectively any move, he can pull items like mega mushroom and invincibility, can turn into an invincible nuclear bomb at any point in the match, turn a third of the stage into a hitbox that can kill at like 20, can one shot shields fairly efficiently, move faster than any character in the game on occasion, has a frame 16 smash attack (flame slash), can put you to sleep immediately, and can recover from anywhere on screen. I’m saying you spawn at kill percent

I mean, in the games it mostly shot straight anyways, so I would make his arrows fly straight, so he will need to get up close to the opponent to edgeguard, leaving him more vulnerable, and the bow should take longer to charge and have less range, which fits Pit's general style more anyways.

As a Pit main, you could also mention being able to literally shield in midair with down b and dair being such a weak spike that if you do it onstage, it true combos into smash attacks over 100%

@PixelHero Just watch a good Shulk in bracket. It isn't uncommon for a Shulk to survive a kill move at 190% because it's a multihit (like ZSS boost kick, or Cloud F-smash) and he has enough time to switch to shield art. Shulk is blatantly unfair.

You forgot Dark Pit's side b, which can rob stocks out of nowhere and has (admittedly very inconsistent) super armor. But Pit and Dark Pit's biggest cheater move was one you didn't mention: orbitars. They are a free get-out-of-disadvantage free card, and since the Pits don't receive hitlag, they can sometimes punish you for hitting or breaking the orbitars. To be honest, I think these move Pit and Dark Pit up one more tier.

As an ex-Dark Pit main, Orbitars are not that good. If it retained the Sm4sh Orbitars where they dont shrink, then yes, he would be a cheater. The Orbitars shrink, leaving Pit/Dark Pit open for attack and also straight doesnt even protect his top or bottom
I think Sonic deserves a higher place job the list with the safest move in the game. His side-B is literally unpunishable when used with his up-B. Let’s just ignore the time he cancels side-B and attacks for real. If you shield, you won’t be able to punish if he jumps before the contact as you’ll basically be too slow. If you parry, you’ll need 8 frames to act, but will be out of you range at the 9th frame, and even if you can reach him, his up-B is frame 3, so he’ll get out of range AND punish you for trying to punish Sonic as the remaining spring will hurt you. And also most counters in the game don’t come out fast enough to catch Sonic. Now let’s check something different, Bayonetta’s Witch Time slows the foe, but Sonic doesn’t mind that as his up-B has invincibility on release. You’re simply too slow to punish Sonic. Sonic deserves a higher place in this tier list.
Ridley's side B was also not considered for the instakill bullshit it can be. Unlike ganondorf, if you land it over a ledge, ridley can boot them about halfway down and has the aerial capabilities to get back up. And any match where you can walk to the edge, he drags them and yeets them to the kill zone before they can even fight back.
I remember a random single stock stamina match a ganondorf set up on eldin bridge. Fight was over in four seconds. He didn't want a rematch.

As a Yoshi main, my argument with the double jump super armor is that without it Yoshi could easily be cheesed during his recovery, and without an up B recovery, he doesn't have much else going for him.
Ness should be higher imo… up air is a kill move, forward air, back air, down air, all kill moves. He has a killing back throw which you mentioned, but hitting himself with pk thunder can kill at low percentage if he hits you. He has a yoyo that he can suspend off of the edge. To make recovery increasingly difficult. He can neutral air practically out of everything and that also kills

ridley should definitely be higher, if you grab someone off a ledge and plummet, you can ensure the stock (At 0%) as most fighters lack the vertical jumps (especially if they already used it) while ridley has three jumps AND and solid up B, and if the arena is eldin bridge (Or any other map where you can walk to the edge) he can drag them over and yeet them at 0%
There is one problem with the ice climbers. Once you get them seperated, they are useless once off stage after that

Ok here me out, I’m a Piranha Plant main. Plant is more of a cheater than you should think! You can make Ptooie go further the closer the spike ball is to he face (AKA the further you charge). His Long Stem Strike (down special) has Super Armor while you charge it. If you try to attack from above he will annihilate you with up air, ptooie, and (occasionally)
Long stem strike. His edge guarding is broken, he can ruin characters like KRool with Ptooie and if you time it right, you can back air beside him and KILL. Back air is slow but, does a good job at the damage game. If plant was faster, had less ending lag, and had better aerials, he would be much better than C Tier

Man this clip gives me sad flashbacks man. The reason it’s so sad is that this is the game RIGHT after Prodigy won 3-0 against MkLeo. And not only getting cheesed by such a good lead, but losing the set makes me just super sad for prodigy.
I feel the Mr. game and watch should be have his own tier above the rest. Be “breaks the rules” his Up B Isn’t super punishable, and is super quick. His down Air is maneuverable, and can be cancelled. Also down and up smash are super quick and hard to punish. To finish up, fair, neutral b, and back air are also broken.
Why was Lucina Neutral-B the only Move that you call "out of the ordinary" while ignoring that stupid Up-B? I think even Chrom is more Honest then Lucina sure that Jab is busted but thats all he got. (Chrom Up-B can have "cheesy" interaction but at least he still dies to utilises it to be "cheesy")

Incineroar’s revenge can actually be really hard to get use out of at times due to the combo of still taking the damage from what you countered, being the slowest character in the game, and getting revenge taken away if you take 30% or get grabbed, so I think they should be a bit lower. They’re absolutely still in Giga Cheater, don’t get me wrong, but I don’t think they’re higher than Peach and Daisy

A) His Up-B can DODGE Final Smashes, even at a close-ish range
B) His Neutral-B is spamable and broken as heck. In a Sudden Death, it WILL One-Shot ANYONE.

Thus, in my belief, Sonic should be in the "Blatent Cheater" Tier.

I consider Samus to have multiple cheat tools, centering around her charge shot giving her combos, confirms, and kills from an unfair safe distance.
Samus isn't really all that safe on that distance, quicker characters can get in on her easily in the time after she fires if she misses. Since she isn't allowed to have stupid close combat moves like most projectile zoners in this game. Her cheating in my opinion mostly comes from the move bomb, which gets slept on in the casual scene. It lets her cheat on several gamestates in a way not many characters are allowed to. If you play a heavy though I get that her projectiles would be rage inducing too.

I've been told by some people on my esports team that I play "the most honest" tink because I don't like zoning and i normally kill with edgeguards so i guess that coincides with this list.
You never gave ice climbers enough credit. Even though the concept of two characters in one seems like an extremely unfair mechanic, there's also a forbidden technique that only few have the guts to learn. DESYNCING. With this you can have nana hold a smash attack while moving. You can also do infinite freeze combos.
