@@ampa-3612 lol the display is top so it doesnt really take room. and the wires could easily be shortened quite a bit. the only thing is the small little battery. which could have probably fit where the disk drive goes and just use it as all digital.
He should reverse it and turn a 3ds into a console

Perhaps take apart a 3DS and make the top screen the display from the television and the bottom screen a gamepad like the WiiU.

The power button DID turn off the PS4 back in the day. I have had a fat one since mid 2015 and you could manually change it into going into sleep mode or even restarting the console. I remember changing mine to sleep and being confused why I couldn't revert it back not realizing they locked out that option in an update. I think they made the switch not long after, probably when the slim and pro came out. Now you have to hold the button for 7 seconds so it will turn off. It is honestly the most unnecessary change Sony made.
I feel like you could only play this for a max of 10 mins before you have to put it in the fridge to stop it from falling apart
