I adore this pianist's playing on a Fazioli piano. When I first came across these wonderful pianos I visited the London showroom to decide which one to use for concets. Tried loads and when I picked the piano I wanted they said, excellent, that is the one Angela Hewitt uses.
She tells us that while it is very important for modern keyboard players to be aware of the ideology of ancient music research when working on the Great Bach, a performance that shelves the acoustics of a modern piano cannot be achieved.

YT audio is poor; but the recording engineer(s) have done a terrific job here. The Fazioli can’t be easy to record either!
