I myself was raised on an old set of LPs with Sviatoslav Richter playing "The Well-Tempered Clavier", but since then I have heard many interesting renderings of this work. Martha Czech certainly ranks together with Wanda Landowska (whose style is very similar, but by no way the same) and Christiane Jacottet (whose rendition I found the clearest). Congratulations for this achievement!

The Well-tempered Clavier by the wonderfully well-tempered, miraculous Marta. Johann Sebastian would have loved her. And would have been astounded by a Fazioli. Imagine, Marta giving Bach to Bach on a Fazioli! But we do not have to imagine it. Here it is, for all the world to see. :-) Magical Marta giving pure Bach to us.
Bach would have loved to have had his music realised on a Fazioli grand piano, superbly. But for that the world had to wait for the phenomenal Lady of Fazioli; the Grand Girl, Miraculous Marta. Now she is here and we can rejoice in his bountiful genius through hers on this superb instrument.

Das WTK ist eine Sammlung unsterblicher Themen . Ihnen könnte es gelingen, diese ins 21. Jahrhundert zu tragen, auf einem herausragenden Instrument unserer Zeit. Auf Bachs Instrument, dem Cembalo, wäre dies kaum möglich. Die meisten Zeitgenossen können sich unter einem Harpsicord/Clavecin/Cembalo überhaupt nichts mehr vorstellen. Ein Grund mehr für mich, auch wieder mehr am Cembalo zu studieren. Mit Ihrem Fazioli haben Sie natürlich die besseren Chancen, diese große Musik einem breiten Publikum zugänglich zu machen. Viel Erfolg und Freude dabei!
