No pat-down or command to keep her hands out in the open. On the face of the few facts he had, the Officer made no serious attempt to be aware of his surroundings for the shooter. How bizarre that the most helpful person on the scene was a woman without a phone who dragged him down the steps, down the ice-covered hill and along the sidewalk looking for help.
I was an EMT certified state trooper. With gunshots there's little external bleeding (all the damage is inside) and little that can be done besides applying a C collar, O² flow high, treat for shock, and transport asap. Most cops don't carry C collars or oxygen like i did, so calling medics and keeping the patient calm and warm is about all they could do.
Important to everybody: No matter how much trouble you think it will put you in, if you are injured and need medical help, DO NOT HIDE DRUGS YOU TOOK. tell them everything. Even if its really, really bad and illegal drugs you are on, TELL IT. you might not survive the medication the hospital gives you otherwise. no matter what drugs you took, not worth dying for it.

Anyone else remember the PSA about finding an injured person outside your door. I definitely remember them telling me to drag the victim through the snow to the emergency room.
I mean, you could tell from the second one that she was involved because instead of calling 911 and leaving him, she started dragging him away, hoping they wouldn’t go to her house to see what really happens. You can just tell automatically she’s guilty. But this whole thing is like incompetence at it’s finest.
In my country (Slovakia, Europe) you can get 2 years prison for not providing first aid to a wounded person. I can't imagine that a cop here wouldn't provide first aid to a shot person immediately.
Good Samaritan laws are really important. Many jurisdictions do not have them sadly, thus you can be prosecuted for helping soeone who later ends up either dead or disabled.
He starts treatment, and suddenly the gunman decides he wants to make sure dude is dead, so now the cop, hands tied up, lays dead next to the victim. And unless the scene was cleared with 5+ Units, it's not safe. The cop also most definitely does not have enough/the right equipment to treat THIS.
Video doesn't do justice how steep the streets are in Duluth. With the snow, they have to take alternate routes so they don't get stuck. Some of those streets seem like you're going straight up.
And? The ambulances drop people at the hospital- they don't necessarily sit around there waiting for calls. When you call 911 you're getting emergency services provided by your city or county, not the hospital. The ambulance could be anywhere. Where I live, you might wait 20 minutes or more because the area covered is pretty big and the city is pretty busy. We also have a whopping 3 ambulances so if they're all busy, you better hope there's a fire rescue unit available, though most don't have paramedics, only EMTs who can only offer limited treatments.
So the cops blocked them from making it to the hospital ...probably walked there because american healthcare system is criminal and would have charged the victim or bystander helping a $1k-10k bill for 2 block ambulance ride ...that's why no one calls ambulance or 911 for anyone because they'll charge the person who called for the ambulance ride and accuse them of being friends with them

Not a single clue of anything fishy to make the police "get the hint".
Its not thats small of a city. However at that time of day it was probably pretty congested, the hospitals literally less than a mile away from there though if im not mistaken
In very small towns the ambulance might be the slowest way to get help. My family member had a heart attack in the middle of nowhere Mississippi and it took 30mins for an ambulance to arrive and bring her to the local hospital. Then they had to fly her to a bigger hospital to receive the care she needed.
How to be a cop 1. Always ask all questions first 2. Always ask the questions a second time but slower. 3. After all questions answered, call for another cop. 4. Oh yeah and save their life or whatever.
Ok. I was sure that the chick who was dragging him was involved. Especially after that totally incoherent babble of a story.

EMS aren’t stationed at hospitals.
He was a minority and he wasnt screaming. They took it as seriously as they wanted to.

Ok. I was sure that the chick who was dragging him was involved. Especially after that totally incoherent babble of a story. I just can’t fathom why she would have tried to drag him out & not gone to call an ambulance if she wasn’t & just didn’t have a phone. Like thousands of people do every day - go to the neighbour go to a shop, flag down a car… something other than drag the guy you’re possibly paralysing & making worse 🙄🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ Although I suppose she didn’t want to be known as having anything to do with it so thought she’d just drop him on the street corner & someone else would call an ambulance for him??? 🤷♀️ Not the smartest plan considering the drag marks & stains leading … straight back to her house 🤦♀️🤷♀️🫣
Hard for her to talk without her teeth in.😂

Just taking out the trash, nothing to see here!
She let out she knows the guy …and he said he was going to see her ….shes a mess 😮
She didn't want the police in her house... 😂 that's why they tried to imply it happend outside first.
Cops don't seem to be much brighter than that dim bulb of a witness/participant.
She's as high as a giraffes nuts
Oh they definitely aren’t 😂
Huh? How you figure or lemme guess you just don’t like cops
@@bluev7427the way they treated (or lack thereof) of the victim. I support cops but they gotta know how to handle wounds and they certqinly did not do it right.

Sounds like a rail building squad...Cutbank and Steeprock 😂
The cops that took them down were given the names Two Birds and One Stone

Cop is completely worthless omfg
As a Marine this infuriates me to see this officer not even provide basic aid to a gunshot victim. He should be fired
The cop wasn’t going to put himself in a vulnerable position with the possibility of a shooter running free around the corner
Exactly, he had a piece of paper instead like he had no rush or worries
Doesnt matter you pull him into a safe position and render aid. @@andy_182
Youre utterly useless though. You fight for isreal not america.
Glad you're not at my back...a Marine on C.o.D?
Lying in the cold snow might be the reason he survived being shot eight times.
I love how the cop is more worried about mindless details instead of rendering aid to a man being drove across the sidewalk in the snow saying he’s been shot
Everyone talks around the man, but nobody instantly calls an ambulance...
He's barely bleeding. He was hit with a pellet piece
The cop had already called 911 and backup.

She is High as a kite and her house should be SPOTLESS! How do high people live like that?
There's a baby gate on the kitchen, so possibly a child 'lives' there.
And the woman says a rose was found on top of the guy who was shot, she picks ip up, continues to handle it and the cops just stand there instead of taking it as evidence? Wow. Total incompetence.
If only you were there!

@@David-cc8xeto be fair, he's not wrong. This woman should have been detained as a suspect at a minimum. Letting her just handle (and potentially contaminate) evidence at the scene is incredibly poor policing.
