This build worked really good! I've been curious as another creator says that based upon their testing where a Fury of the Faithful + Martyrdom build makes the Relic Blade shine as well yet I haven't seen the build yet... I'm imagining it that it is much like those builds that were using such for the Thunder Hammer. I appreciate your work and showing this. And I was able to work with it, it worked out great. Thank you Broadside!

Im glad you liked it bud !
I can see why Martyrdom would work wth it but my issues with that keystone is is SUPER high risk reward, if anything catches you off guard you're done for, most Zealot players myself included hate running at 1 wound and near to no health, but that is purely a preference not that the spec is bad.

I'm still 50/50 with it some times its a must. sometimes I drop it for hard defence, but it is stupidly good having one.

Personally, I still can’t work out how to play Zealot, I really like how they can do almost anything, but I always find myself getting downed by ranged enemies.

      Sprint, slide, close distance fast

its all about keeping the pressure up in combat, sprinting sliding and using your combat ability, to get in the faces of gunners and shotgunners to force them in to melee. there's a balance though, you don't want to get out of range of your team and lose all fire support but you need to close the distance to really get to work. as your skill and confidence grows you'll be able to push this more and more and judge just how aggressive you can play with out being a liability to your team.
check out my last few live streams, you'll get an idea of how to take advantage of the slide and sprint to negate most if not all of the gunners overwatch. and please do feel free to ask any questions we're always happy to try and help.

I don't understand the game mechanics yet and I have a maybe a stupid question.
This build only works for this specific weapon? Are there any synergies in talents that I don't see at first glance?
I'm just testing different weapons, their movesets, etc. and I haven't unlocked all of them yet.

Please do feel free to ask any questions you need my dude, we're always happy to help, either my self or one of our awesome subscribers should be able to answer anything you've got. Each weapon does require a slightly different talent set up, but thats pure Min/maxing, you can quite happily take this build and use it with any weapon you want, only a select few really NEED a specific set up like the combat knife

Incredible video, Broadside Gaming. Can't wait to see your next upload from you. I hit the thumbs up icon on your content. Keep up the fantastic work! Your detailed breakdown of the Relic blade build is super helpful. Have you considered how the changes in perks might affect gameplay in higher difficulty levels?

Calling this a meta build is wrong.
It can be called a viable build, maybe a good build but a meta build? No. Please dont call this a meta build as it will mislead people

"Most effective tactics available" It's a widely used build and equipment set up that the community considers extremely powerful, hence, meta.
Metas are generally agreed upon by the gaming community and are considered the best way to play the game. They can include anything from choosing a specific character to playing in a certain way.
