why not getting steady grip when most of the time u're gonna use your gun? i've seen a video where that guy using steady grip literally face tank and walk through tox bomber grenade without getting coruption and losing any hp and all he did just pull out his gun then aim and walk like nothing happen

hey Zug, nice informative Vid ;)...but as a LONG Term Ogryn player ( since closed Beta / several hundred hours of testing ingame and in the Psykanium ) I have 1 or 2 points to add here : Attention Seeker does ALWAYS taunt "little" Shooters like Dreg/Scab Stalkers and Shooters and also Dreg/Scab Shotgunners, but it NEVER "works" on either Dreg or Scab GUNNERS ( Autogun / Hotshot Lasgun ) just because they got no inbuild melee weapon they can switch to, so they get taunted...but they dont enter melee cuz they CANT enter melee ;D Also when you intend to use Attention Seeker with the Slab shield, always consider also taking Payback Time because the +20% dmg boost for 5 sec does ALSO account for BLOCKING melee and / or ranged attacks. The best combo to make BIG enemies fall to the Ground is Heavy 1 into Push follow up and then continue Heavy 1 and 2 lights...rince and repeat...only use the Push when No Pushover is off cooldown ;) ( you WILL need Slam and No Pushover for this ) Just my 2 Cents here, keep up the good work

This looks awfully similar to my main Ogryn build. Only I use the Pickaxe as my melee weapon and the Heavy Stubber as my range weapon.

The problem with Toughness Regen Speed isn't that it only works in Coherency, lots of good abilities only work in Coherency. The problem is that a single enemy in melee turns it off completely. If it only works when you're not threatened and turns off when you actually need it...

I'm surprised you didn't get Fortitude of Fellowship, since the base regeneration rate, due to it being a flat value, is benefitial with low toughness, and especially with Shroudfield, since you can break away from enemies and start passive regeneration immediately. I also like how Zealots are basically mini Ogryns with 3 health curios stacked up, with a whopping 356 hp.

Smooth build thanks for the content! I feel that relic sword reach it's true potential only with a martyrdom build otherwise the swings are a tad too slow for my liking; at just 3-4 stacks it will blend mixed hordes, one shot head shot every elite/specialist in the game with fof.

I've seen a lot of different relic sword builds now, all performing very well at the highest levels. I came into darktide through space marine 2 (which I like a lot, but the game is missing depth and broadness in building) I think it's absolutely fantastic that I've seen 3 completely different builds of just 1 class -zealot- with 1 weapon -relic sword- and all of them are viable at endgame. Slept on this game for too long, almost maxed out my zealot, then onto veteran we go! Thanks for the build!

Hi there. Stumbled upon one of your videos yesterday, and after I’ve seen a few, good videos mate, and u got a new sub. I have a question with this build, cause I find the gauntlet a bit underpowered, could you use one of the machineguns instead?

Filthy, disgusting Meta Build, I'll stick to my Chad Relic Blade Build. Better to die a Chad than to live by the Meta. All jokes aside the DS Mk4 is incredibly strong and a Nerf would not surprise me.

Great video. I actually use the almost the same build/weapon and blessing set up as you do, and I definitely feel it’s a great one. The relic blade makes short work of any ragers/hordes, but still punches hard enough to take out those crushers and bulwarks. I use the MKII personally. I find even the light attack is just as effective as the heavy against ragers/specials. I only bust out the heavy swings against crushers and bosses, but it just eats through anything! The bolter is a great pick as well. I usually find myself using the bolter for “oh shit moments”. Usually a patrol of crushers/gunners where I can just literally dump an entire clip into them and kill at least half or more of them, then charge in to finish off the rest with ease. I may have to trade around a few talent choices, as mine, while being almost identical, could use that extra damage reduction from dodge. Thanks for the video!

Representation: - Show you weapon stats and talents first, so we can see right form the start of the video what your build is about. The build: - Critical hits on a slow weapon is overall not very effective. But because the zealot is stupidly overpowered and the crit trigger form enduring faith is so strong, it's still ok. I would rather use a momentum build with the relic sword - The "Thy wrath be swift" talent is a must have for the relic sword. You cannot allow the enemies to cancle your attacks.

This is the first time Ive seen on weapon 4x80% and also 61%, I was thinking that 380% in total is the max pool for weapons.

Ogryn needs either a speed boost or a dodge buff, it’s just so easy to lead the line and get trapped or mauled
