I really like that center console redesign. I think part of the experience with these cars is the actual physical touch. The tactile feel. Even in the small things. Good that Aston has stuck with it.
They did a great job on the interior design compare to the old ones. Looks really elegant and flows well throughout the dash. Good review and chose just the right terrain to POV the car.
Contrary to believe I think AM is not going to depreciate as much as in the past. I think and hope they are learning from Porsche and Ferrari as they have brought some Ferrari executive and will make less cars and the dealers should insist of keeping the price and not plummet it. I think the vantage will be more desirable than before, so I hope they learn to do what Ferrari does. AM should learn that eventually they will sell more cars if they make less to begin with, since some people elect not to buy their cars due to losing too much money. It is a terrific car to drive and own!!
Great review Eddie! I'm curious to see how this stacks up against the C8 Z06.. Which is more fun to drive and if you had to pick one which would it be?
Great video, I recognize those beautiful canyon roads. Ok so for the same price, you can still get a brand new and super limited (333 units worldwide) 2023 Vantage V12. The one everybody forgot about 😉. Brand new ones are now advertised $100k to $150k below MSRP. They were priced way too high to begin with. From an investment perspective it might make more sense?
We all want to know how you like the driving experience xonpared to the Z06! I think this is great but the excitment of the Z06 prevails a bit more. Basically picks up where the first gen AMG GT left off imo
I haven’t driven the McLaren GT but can see how it feels a bit more firm compared to more GT luxury leaning cars. I’ll take the trade off for the beastly performance tho
Try it and you will. I have a Porsche GTS as well. They are both wonderful, but the comfort and look you get from the AM Vantage in unmatchable. The turbo s will go faster of course 0 to 60 much faster but the AM eventually over a half a mile or a mile will beat it. More horse power.
@ I’ve been driven in a turbo I e never been in an Aston but the turbo is just a different experience it does both perfect the Aston is more luxurious and can do the performance but Porsche does both better
@@dnice362 Matter of preference. Don't get me wrong I love 911 and feel at home in it. It is just a little small for me, the AM new vantage just feel more special when you drive it. Again, love both cars. The GTS by the way is stick shift so very engaging as well.
Astons are among the most beautiful cars inside and out in my opinion, unfortunately though their build quality is on the same level as Temu factories 🤕🤕
Mercedes Benz engine Audi Infotainment screen Porsche Centrer Console Controls Ladies and Gentlemen...the NEW Aston Martin! 😅 Joking aside, I'm glad they part sourced things that work well together. These somehow look better than an AMG GT, or is it just me?
It's way better and way more expensive.. Sadly it's where the car will fail. If it was fully loaded for 220k I would get one. Sadly most of these with many options are 255k and up. Slightly spec turbo s territory.
@EddieX Missing my point entirely. But if you want to go down that path, have wages gone up with the crazy rate of inflation? Has everything else got more expensive exponentially? Of course. Where this car will do very well is on the used market as your video implies. I don't ever remember the old vanatage with the crazy cost of options, and thats a path Aston wants to go down. Dont get me wrong, I drove one a couple months ago and it's a great car, it's just gonna take a while before this thing gets out there in the used market. But my points still stands. This car is a massive upgrade over the old model. But don't expect them to necessarily sell more. If you easily have the money for this, just go with the DB12. This car is for the 40s somethings with just enough money who want a more edgy experience over a GT. And those people are now priced out or rather get something else like a 911 turbo, 992.2 gts, a gt63, a c8 z06 or another used exotic. All cheaper and just as fast or faster. It's about brand at the end of the day. Good day.
@@adambarnett4509 Its about how it makes you feel. AM is really improving their brand and image. It will help them to keep depreciations down when more people will want one. It is truly a magical car, much sportier than the DB12, it depends what you are in to.

Agreed. The knurled metal rollers are a reallllly nice touch
I absolutely adore this. Especially after how MB changed direction on the AMG GT coupe.
This is the one to own. You should buy one in white.
@EddieX i would if I were in the market but I'd rather not. How many cars does one man need anyway
@@EddieX apricot that you drive I’m watching you because every time that you make video I am watching you
The new facelift did wonders for this design, somewhat reminiscent of the One-77.
Definite the best looking car made today. And the best looking AM as well.
That's a great re-design, especially the front end and the interior.
I love the new front end styling 🔥
As a Die Hard Aston fan, i think they nailed it with this version of the new vantage. It is a daily aston without any compromise.
Great opening scene, music and editing!
Thank you!
Damn brah, you should have way more subscribers than some of these other youtubers.
Appreciate it. Working on it!
The Volante version of this car is going to be 🔥
top down to better hear that V8 rumble!!
Seems to be really responsive pulls really well. And good looks to go with it
Here is the thing about Aston Martin. No one drives it so it’s super rare. That’s why I would buy it.
They did a great job on the interior design compare to the old ones. Looks really elegant and flows well throughout the dash. Good review and chose just the right terrain to POV the car.

If they only made their cars more reliable this would be a killer. I will wait a couple of years to get a used one with this new design.

Waiting to see how depreciation hits these but it’s easily the most beautiful car to come out since the Pista. Definitely need one
The Aston was always beautiful. The interior and tech was always the problem.
The new interior is a HUGE improvement.
I drove a Seychelles blue last week as well as gt3 both were great
Great video
Thanks for watching!

Love the car
How does this compare to your Z06?!
Is it just me, or does the panel gap on the bonnet look massive? Can't stop staring at it when I see the front end...
What is a bonnet?
Hm not something I specifically noticed when I had the car

Aston Martin vantage or Porsche 911 gt3/718 boxter ( yellow), which one should I buy for looks & road presence? 🤩🤭
Compared to the c8 Z06 which one has a better a driving feel?
That colour tho ❤
I hope you drive the new Vanquish
I hope so too! Looks pretty epic
they say it is pretty bumpy unlike something like a McLaren GT for instance or a Ferrari Roma
I haven’t driven the McLaren GT but can see how it feels a bit more firm compared to more GT luxury leaning cars. I’ll take the trade off for the beastly performance tho
It is not at all! I own one, I am not sure why they say that. It is really good with bumps.
The lack of front lift kinda pisses me off.
A lot of physical control buttons- GREAT! Mercedes needs to learn from this control layout and ditch the ultra-large iPad touchscreen!
Wow!
im tryna upgrade c63s cab to this drop top lol
Do itttttt
I want a non hybrid Valhalla 😭
I understand it’s an Aston and I fault no one for buying this but no chance I take this over a 911 turbo s

Aston just made a vantage that drives like M4 .....bad torque management
Nice, except you have to tow it at least six hundred miles to a qualifying service center when it fails. So it’s useless in the U.S.
What lol. You must live in the middle of nowhere if the nearest Aston dealer is 600 miles away. Plenty of dealers in the US.

Hence my point of comparing it to the outgoing version in terms of inflation adjusted price. It’s essentially the same cost.

The problem is how much they depreciate. You can put 20k miles on a Porsche and still sell it for the same price you bought it for or more.
