With regards to your doubt as to whether this new Vantage is a true sports car. From the videos of all the other journos, lucky enough to have been invited to the official launch, it is vividly clear that this new version is most definitely a sports car- almost bordering on a super car. This thing looks like an absolute beast on track. Nice review but you are only showing half the picture. Might be worth you enquire to Aston Boston if they'd allow you a few laps on track.. I know, probably a big ask! But hey, no harm in asking right.. Plus your followers get to see what this new beauty from Aston can really do when given its legs and some room to play ;))

While I would agree with you that it’s not as luxurious as the DB12, I think it’s important to point out that the trim level in your tester was by no means as luxurious as it can be. There are about eight different trim level’s available. Get towards the top with semi-aniline leather available in a myriad of colors and it feels very different.
The "in traffic" review was great. Can see the functionality of those new mirrors. And folks that can afford these cars will likely be in bigger cities with traffic....
Last year’s 503 hp and 505 lb ft of torque was the right balance for the Vantage. It’s a fair question especially when you consider Aston Martin’s clientele. While the Vantage has now become Aston’s platform for GT racing, to increase the power exponentially it completely changes where this car falls into place in its market but also redefines what the Vantage is.
if Aston wants to be a 911 fighter, do a base model naturally aspirated small v8 or v6 with 6 speed manual option. Make it more affordable for goodness sake!
Have a 2023 M8 comp. I priced this out and landed on 258k. They will not sell this car. Price is too high and will depreciate like a rock. Updates are great though. It is super cool though. 100k more than an M8. Not sure about that.
Exactly. Way too many other options at their MSRP. Hopefully they drop as much as the previous generation. In a few years if they’re 80-130 like the last gen I’d buy immediately just on looks alone.
Ridiculous. You can't possible be testing a 700+ hp super car around densely populated neighborhood streets and expect to give it the proper respect and capacity it deserves. Like evaluating a race horse in the confine of a silly corral. Lol. Planning your route will make for a much more impactful presentation.
I thought the mid 2000’s Vantage was peak, but this gen might look even better
they have the best interior colours imo.

It's a real head turner and drives precisely. Lots of power when needed. Can be driven daily

Will give it 6 months and the leases should be much better
They depreciate quite quickly, it’ll be around 100k give or take before you know it. Just like last gen was after 2-3 years
