    Thank you! I’m going to try this! I changed the sensor awhile back ago..but I’m starting to think I may need to get a kit and change the whole deal. My AC won’t blow and it shows a minus reading as well…my heat won’t even come on when the minus shows up.

    I just got this issue sorted with my Mechanic today . I thought I wanted a new sensor set but he managed to check and redo the wiring plus the connector exactly as shown in your video . He just charged me 10 KWD which is almost USD 35.00 and my Ac is back to normal . No minus temperature reading and back to normal 👍

    the thing that you mentioned that it fixes A/C was very important for me because my AC clutch isn't engaging and also have the -40F ambient temperature issue. hopefully replacing the sensor will turn ON my A/C as well. Thanks buddy. SUBSCRIBED

      Just curious, did that fix your issue?

    • @TheOnlyRaceEngineer
      @TheOnlyRaceEngineer Рік тому

      @@JJ-xo7zv Hi . Yeah I installed the ambient temperature sensor and connected the wires. The temperature is now shown correctly on the instrument cluster.
      However the AC compressor still doesn’t turn ON only because the refrigerant level is low. The ECU doesn’t allow it when pressure is low .
      The compressor is activated perfectly when i turn it ON separately using ISTA software.
      I’ll just have to put refrigerant and hopefully it will turn ON simply by the AC switch .
      At the moment the refrigerant pressure sensor voltage is 0.83V and it should be above 4.5V so that ECU allows the compressor to engage .

    I had a problem with the drain out bolt the one next to the coolant filler cap, I had to replace it and found my engine bay full of coolant. I heared this is a common problem, engine temperature went up to 103 celsius, now it stays around 87 at idle, but I am a bit concered and so sad about this, I never had any problem like this😑😥

    hey i know this is old video, but 2 weeks ago i went on a drive to another city, and it was snowy in that area, mid road i get a -40 Celsius fluctuation, i stop on right side turn engine off turn engine on, does it again a few times then never again. I go back home 2 days later, AC working perfectly no -40 error anymore i park my car in my yard no1 touched it for 2 days then i turn it on and try to go to town, and my AC now doesn't blow any air, being it cold or hot.. like the blower motor doesn't spin at all... is it this sensor? cause i checked all relays and i checked all fuses and all are fine, i don't want to go and swap the FSU cause i don't know how to test if that FSU is bad or not since is a piece of a aluminum part that makes no noise. and the motor is way is encapsulated and i can turn it easily by hand from outside and i don't want to fk it up where it is ... would this senzor be the fault? to mention now there is no error -40 is fronzen outside right now winter time right... but no temp indicator in dashboard no bipping noise nothing AC controller turn lights on all button work fine increases decreases on display fan speed but the motor for the AC doesn't blow air in or turns on... is weird... i don't want to replace the motor or the FSU cause both of them are worth more than the car if i buy them OM

    • @GarageBoys
      @GarageBoys  4 роки тому +1

      Yes your problem is the ambient sensor, it’s telling the vehicle that outside is very cold so the vehicle won’t turn on your A/C. You have to replace the ambient sensor

    You didn't cut the wire to fit perfectly. You cut too much. Seal must be crimped together with terminal. Cut the wire 5 mm or less. Put the seal and terminal together. With first wings on terminal crimp the wire and with second the bigger one crimp the seal. You can find on internet picture of terminal with the seal and you will know how to fit them. Good video but your crimping is really bad.

    • @AllyWallyFallyCymbal
