- This wooden outdoor couch, or maybe better called loveseat/bench, is incredibly simple to put together even for a beginner. To make this out of 2x4s, all you need is a saw and a drill!
I built my outdoor couch/sofa using plans from Ana White. She is an amazing builder and has plans for pretty much anything you’d need for a home! You can find the original plans by Ana White here: www.ana-white.... .

I built 2 love chair benches yesterday, for the first time trying to make something it came out great in my eyes. I had minor gaffes but I worked around them. It was fulfilling that I made something. My wife and daughter loved it. Probably stain and seal tomorrow. Thanks again for your video. I would love to send a pic of my finished benches.

Hi Mindy ..I am a new subscriber... love ❤️ 😍 💖 the videos! I wanted to know what tools you were using especially the saw an the pocket hole jig I guess and where did you get them from?
Hi! Thanks for being here! The saw I have is a 10 inch sliding miter saw (Ryobi brand) and the pocket hole jig is (Kreg brand). You can find both at Home depot or online. I am working on a list of all the tools I use, and I"ll update you!

What setting did you have the pocket holes set to?
I used a 2x3 for the back support, so I used the 1 1/2 inch bit setting and 2 1/2 inch outdoor pocket screw. It would be the same for a 2x4. Hope that helps!😊
