Waimanolo Beach is at the top of the list of the best beaches on Oahu and it is just 45 minutes from Waikiki.
This secluded beach has everything a great beach needs. It has awe inspiring views of turquoise blue water and soft white sand that feels like velvet and if you get tired or bored of looking at the beautiful water you can gaze at the picturesque Koolau Mountains.
Did I mention, the sand is soft and it will mold to the contours of your body allowing you to relax and forget any troubles of the world. The waters are calm in the mornings and it is generally more windy in the afternoons. Waimanolo is a small town on the southeastern corner of Oahu and there are several places to eat or grab some great food or refreshments for your day or you can get to the beach early and use any of the public barbecues grills.
There are approximately 3 miles of beach including Waimanalo Bay Beach, Waimanalo Beach Park and Bellows. You can snorkel, bodysurf, stand of paddle board or simply relax and soak up the sun. You will know when you have arrived at this beach when you see the Ironwoods trees and feel your toes sink into the soft white sand! I must warn you, once you have experienced this beach you may not want to leave. Enjoy!

Hi, what a another great video! Is that beach better then Lanikani beach? If you had to choose ( time restricted) to go only to Lanikani or this beach which one would you choose?
Also since we are coming in December is it going to be calm there enough to swim ?

@@anitaklara7428 I apologize I didn’t see your question. If you are still here, you probably won’t be able to swim in either with all the rain we have been experiencing. But you can visit both beaches in the same day. They are very close. I would suggest driving to Waimanalo Beach first and then go to Lanikai. It is hard to recommend one or the other because they are both absolutely stunning and worth a visit.
@@Breezepro55 I guess that was an understatement. And now that I read my comment I realize that sometimes we take things for granted. But I do sincerely hope that you get to visit!
By chance I stumbled upon this beach my last morning on Oahu and had just a few hours before catching my flight to Kauai. Those were a few glorious hours. I did not want to leave :)

If you go to the beach keep your eye on your car it will broken in too it's just the way it is
That makes me sad. I’ve never had any issues there.
