So glad I found your channel. This is helping me so much. I have done glass for many years but have not done much since covid. I need some refresher lessons. You are definitely doing that for me. Thank you so much. I am in Charleston and may come to do some shopping in the near future.

Thank you Julie! We learned a few things too! It was fun.
Hi! I just watched the video, and I really liked it! I learned a lot! You showing how to make a pattern using contact paper is great! I liked watching you tinning the edges, I always have trouble doing that. Thank you for showing us this beautiful heart box! Love, Brenda from Minnesota 😊

Hi Lisa!
To learn more about the box hinges - watch this ua-cam.com/video/6ekt-OyEIX0/v-deo.html
A: Ed you said do not put mirror on the grinder but to sand it. What are you using to sand the mirror with?
Sand paper. 220 grit
Thank you. They did not cover this in my stained glass class. My mirror project was doomed from the beginning. Now for the redo. Thanks again.
Thanks for the free pattern! I have never done a box with a hinge. Where are the hinges purchased? Did not see any
on your website.
Clear contact paper, great tip!
We just got more in and adding to the website tomorrow. Thanks for watching.
Love you guys and your channel! Thank you for all that you do! Question: Does the novican patina turn the brass rods for the hinges black aswell??
You’ll tin and solder the hinges after installed. Then you’ll apply patina. Thanks for watching!
Hi I loved this!! Ty and I will be making one soon. Question, do you all sell the hinges for the boxes? And where can I order the pretty confetti streamer stained glass?! Tia! ❤️😊
Our sponsor Sunshine Glass has the in stock. 10 sets is less than $30. 800-828-7159. Thanks for watching.
Thank you for your video! Learning so much from your videos!! What solder do you use with the jewelry box as it will get handled a lot more than an ornament or suncatcher?
You could use lead free solder. We usually reserve that for wearables. But if you are worried about it, use lead free solder.
@@ARTyRV Okay perfect that is what I was thinking of doing, I am still learning the ropes of this art form, and I have learned that it is very difficult working with lead-free solder. What is it that you used in this video? Do you use lead-based solder for your jewelry boxes? Are you worried about lead?
Q What type of glove was Barbra using so she didn't get burnt? Tha heart box looks awsome. Nancy from upstate New York.
I can’t remember . I’ll have to look. Lol
Boxes are hard! I'm having trouble cutting straight edges even with a square! I'm not experienced using a square and my pieces even though I am super careful in scoring they hardly ever meet up in the corners and the bottom and to pieces are never square!
I see how you put hing to top, but it's not clear how you attach top to box?
Hi Patti! This video has all the details for hingesua-cam.com/video/6ekt-OyEIX0/v-deo.html
