Very interesting subject to reenact. One does not see this side of the war. BTW, my dad was a combat aid man in WW II, he said the word/name" MEDIC" was not really used, they were call "AID MEN".
Thank you for you're dad's serves, ya there is a lecture about medics on youtube talking about how they really weren't called "medics" and how they were called Aid men
a few questions.. why is a medical officer carrying a side arm?...why is a british whatever appear to be running this aid station? If this is an aid station, why is there a army nurse there? questions..questions..
U.S. medical personnel in ww2 didn't carry rifles but did carry sidearms for their own protection (except for the Marines in the Pacific, they carried the m1 carbine sometimes) and if it's a British soldier operating the aid tent that means it's probably a British military tent that is being used by the Americans, this was very very common to see with both axis and allied powers in the war, and as with the army nurse they would be at all the tents in the war to operate on the wounded.
@@loganhane5270 yea cool to find someone else who also likes history and reenactments as well think you for replying to my comment although it’s been so long I forgot I commented on here but whoever this is I hope you have a great day
I would love to be in a reenactment

I am not sure; I didn't set any of this display up; I just filmed what I saw at the event.
