- I refer to this in the video as a reskin of the UI - which is essentially what it is but with some graphical niceness to the backgrounds that creates a more immersive experience.
Looking forward to the update and the toothpicks! You guys still have the best physics IMO.
Any chance of being able to change quads without having to leave the current flying session? Also, when using the quick start feature, would be nice to see text that shows which quad was loaded, maybe similar to the text at the top of the screen that lists the current track.
possibly - there are complications around this, for single player it's pretty easy but multiplayer there are a lot of implications.

And being able to go back to the track editor after racing.
@@timn4481 this has always been available, the PF11 key switches between racing and track editor, providing you start out in the track editor.

Is it possible to get the DJI FPV drone anyhow in the configurator? I would love to use it and be able to race with it lets see how it performs!😊 it would be any possible please?
it is coming but we haven't finished working on it yet - so you will have to wait a little bit longer
@@Velocidrone ahh okey! If its working in progress is perfect, i have another question, would be possible to have a video on how to configurate drags and quad setup for freestyle and racing? I havent seen any video and i would like to squeeze the config a little to make it a little more realistic
@@aesirfpv you should use the correct quad for the job. So for racing any quad you get by default with the sim license will be setup with racing drag factors. For freestyle you should use quads from the freestyle pack as they are setup with freestyle drag factors (these quads are also listed on the freestyle pack by name on our website). It will not be easy to make a racing specific quad fly like a freestyle quad or vice versa. There are videos on our channel that explain the sliders for configuring drag etc.
@@Velocidrone okey okey, i didnt know each quad had diferent stock number, so i should just pick quad and it should have already good config for the expected flight
Looks great. The one thing that I would love and think it would trump all sims is multiplayer voice lobby chat without having to use a third party program like discord. Is lobby voice chat something you guys might implement in the future?
we had this before - literally nobody used it so we removed it.
@@Velocidrone wow I can't believe that. Multi-player had grown a lot and would especially be useful during tournaments. Either way you guys are killing it. Keep it up.
@@EvilDxtreme everyone went on discord, so we just went "ok, don't need this then". For the record I also thought it was weird but that's exactly what happened.
Why is it that half the velocidrone videos I see show a game with a decent looking orange UI and the other half have this crappy purple UI? Are there two different games?
we constantly update the simulator, so older videos will be on an older UI and newer videos will be on newer UI. The UI will change again this year as we are currently in the process of redoing it all.

I wish I could pick a different multiplayer session without having to go all the way back to the main menu. Sometimes i join a session and there's just someone sitting there on the start, probably asleep. Or they're doing freestyle when I want to race.
On that note, could you add a TYPE tag to a room when it's created to make it easy to tell if they're racing or just doing freestyle so we don't waste time connecting to the wrong kind of session?
