The most beautiful car ever made. I would prefer this car over any supercar in the world. Also, this is a very good detailed review of the car done in a short clip. Well done.
Terrific review!! I like the fact that you bring details not mentioned by other reviewers. And that you drove it on the country roads and not the track. Keep up the great work! :) I only disagree with "..built for the track" though I know what you were getting at. IMHO ALL 911's were "built for the street" for wealthy average joes with no amateur/professional racing experience. The GT3's and the 911 R are the "most track capable 911's". :) "track focused" is marking lingo. :) No manufacturer can or will sell a car "close to a racing version" for mass (even if only 700...911 R) to the public.Any one who can pay. Heck even the 918 was designed (I think) for the street. More so....than the models I mentioned...because it is a hybrid "supercar". :)
i think you get it wrong, 911R were produced 991 units world wide & 911R is more for street use (fun driving) than track focus 911.2 GT3 RS (faster lap time)
DM Sumarli I read it somewhere before from a "good source" that said 799 copies. Now I find out that it's "under 1000 copies for the 2017 911 R". :) No matter. I couldn't afford one any how. And by track worthy..I was referring to the gearing of the 911 R. To be "happy" the RPM's need to be 6250 or more. Making it not practical for "typical everyday city driving". That's what I meant. But if you live in Germany and you have the Autobahn...for "daily driving" and don't need to take it to a race track.
For me this is a great review. My sentiments exactly. The perfect combination of daily driver and bullet proof track weapon. And as far as a manual transmission goes. I DON'T CARE EITHER ! Give me that staccato PDK all day and every day. GT3RS - the ultimate bomb proof military grade track destroyer that you can drive to work as well as to the shop if you like. Any excuse will do for a drive. Hell, who needs an excuse!

+JesusNut™ Those GT3RS's are putting out more hp than stated,it's probably 500 at the wheels and this is faster around a track than a Ferrari 458 Speciale which has 600hp

keep in mind there is a race version of GT3 i think they named it 911 GT3 R which priced almost 3x of 911 GT3 RS but it's not street legal at all

Don't those slightly higher-profile tyres look the nuts? I do tire of licorice-straps.
Funny the way he pronounces Pawch. Australians, such a weird accent.

Who needs 100 more horse powers when you can have the best sound in the world instead? Unfortunately people will prefer the horsepower in the future.
