Wish I had a boat , but this will be helpful for the future hopefully . Great video man and that was a nice Bass you pulled out the livewell at the end .
Hopefully in the near future all tournaments will weigh their fish and release them immediately ,not really a big fan of giving any fish the ride from hell to get to to weigh in and especially throwing them in a live well during the spawn to have their fry decimated by predators just saying
Agreed. Regardless of how well they are taken care of, there all several very negative things that happen to these bass even if they are released alive. I always found it ironic that most of the same ones that would never eat a bass to “keep sport fishing alive and well” will disrupt the spawn and subject the bass population to dislocation from their beds (or home areas when not spawning). This is part of the reason I really like the way Major League Fishing does their tournaments.
James thank you for asking this question. It is a excellent question. The answer is no and I will explain why. On a hot day as you run the boat up on plane the V-T2 catches the ambient air and forces it down throught the three inch sleeve. This compresses the air and when the air (atmospheric gases) leaves the bottom of the V-T2 it then expands. Expanding gases have a cooling effect. Therefore as ambient air enters the V-T2 it is cooled and then directed into the livewell water. This is just one way the V-T2 will cool your livewell interior and water. Good fishing!!
What keeps the anglers from dropping a few leds in the fishes belly, so they weigh more? I know that be cheating, but I'm sure a few have done it. Especially when you are fishing for big money. There has got to be some cheats out there.
We have posted dozens of cheaters getting busted and getting hefty fines and jail time on our website. A few have tried it and failed miserably. At the top level, lots of checks and balances. Most of the time the cheaters are completely ostracized from tournament fishing in the future.
Best tips an smarts Iv heard all year nice work on this conservation tips hats off to you all.

Yeah I've always hated that too

Good stuff, thanks!
Love the vids so inforitive
Low budget tournaments will probably never have a catch, weigh and release system. I always catch and release.
I need to ad the vent's bad.
Why?
I would think those vents would introduce heat into the livewell when your running across the lake on a hot day.

Shat if you put a largje into smallie water
Wouldn't any kind of vent work for the livewell? Those V-T2 vents are $35-$40 apiece. They're just a simple plastic vent. Lol

Also most big payout tournaments have polygraph tests for the winners
