Another thing is make sure yall practice bosses. Min clears are actually a very good way to progress because you can take yourself out of the blink pool. Not just for pitched but even for items like twilight, cubes etc. Bossing is something I struggled with a lot because I levelled really fast but bossing hands were lagging behind. (alternatively, find a guild/friend to carry you who doesn't need drops like twilight mark lol)

Great video, only thing I'd change is at 235 rather than going to lv 120 for Lv2 Links, better to get to 140 for both the lv2 link and the 3 piece legion block!

Great video on breaking down what to focus on at specific stages of the game. Especially what kind of damage to have before attempting a boss, is there a guide for something like that for all relevant bosses? To kind of get an idea when to start trying to beat them. Like what kind of gear / damage should I have before trying to do Lucid? Is soloing Lucid something you can only do after whatever she drops is no longer relevant or way beyond what is reasonable instead of just trying to find a group for it, and what are people’s expectations in order to join one of those groups?

biggest regret in progression was not partying up before, especially before hitting 220! p much everything in this game before hluwill is instanced drops, it's always good to have a head start on hellux and abso will carry the hell out of you for a long time
Getting the gear has always been the part I've had issues with. Never getting carries, don't have a friend to carry me and get my gear, don't want to ask randoms for carries, etc. So gearing becomes a much larger issue for players like me. Also how important will meso gear be when they lower the meso rate and/or add a meso cap? How bad will meso gain be when they lower boss crystal prices?
You don't need carries to get gear, just join a party. Bosses up to lomien can be cleared with any kind of gear, 10 stars, epic lines and unique WSE is more than enough to SOLO those bosses to get your abso gear. For luwill forwards full 17 stars, unique potentials and legendary WSE is enough to clear all of CTenebris on a party to get your arcanes. Then get everything to 19 and with sixth job thats enough for a Black mage party clear. In the current state of the game, carries are completly unnecesary as we have more than enough damage to clear all of the arcane bosses with decent gear. People in hyperion have alredy cleared Black mage and the server has only been around for just two months, this example is a bit extreme as those players have been playing a lot, but still, if you actually play the game, you will progress through it.
Where would you recommend getting absolab gear? I have a friend who is solo progging and they are still gated behind the prequests and aren't sure where it fits exactly in the progression
Finish pre quest as soon as possible, I solo’d around 17-18k stat all epic fafnir with no prior knowledge or experience of the bosses, but I did have good nodes via hyper burning.
A question I've always wondered about but why is meso gear needed? Seems like people should try just for drop gear? Esp for people who are more casual and only grind for dailies?
To begin legion you need a character at lvl 200 but it's hard to find a guide that tells you what's the best way to progress to lvl 200 so you can unlock legion.

@@tastys0ju98 oh for sure but once you hit 260 when is a good time to farm for fams? is getting sol erdas for 6th job more important and then revisit fams back at like 275 or something?
@JizzingUnicorn once you're 260, you'll want to farm fragments and sol erda. I usually just do the daily 3k kills for the free 600 energy and 12 frags. Then I spend a bit at Limina for fams. Leftover time I go back to Grandis and farm for frags with 330% drop

I'm no expert, but after gettting your cra set i recommend starting the prequests as they are very long, just to test your dmg if nothing else
Get it, star it to 16 and get 15% main stat on it, then sit on it until arcanes. A couple bil investment is peanuts in the grand scheme of things

It’s meso (Meh-Soh) not miso soup
Its a made up word, policing its pronounciation is funny and cringe
Always cringe when people say it like “miso” it’s meh-so. When you say mess you don’t say it like mees
But meso only has 1 s so you wouldn't say it like that.
@@crabsupreme the extra s has nothing to do with it, when you say destroy or desk or mesopotamia, you say it the “eh” sound.
