Loved this, and I have to say as someone who was in their teenage years in the 80s, that you ladies look even more beautiful today than you did back then, and those smiles have just lightened up my day. Thank you xx
French and Saunders parodies are the best so funny 🤣🤣🤣 and later I learned from Jennifer Saunders on Graham Norton's show, that the scene in Absolutely Fabulous where Edina falls out of the car when the door opens after a night of drinking, was a true story of one of the singers of Bananarama 😆 well done girls 🤣🤣 You're a legend 💜
Ahhh so fantastic!!! That Preacher Man TOTP performance is legendary. 🙌 Amazing to have been in the crowd for two of those memories. Still remember Hyde Park so fondly... ❤️
Lovely and so talented at all stages of their career. I feel springtime when hearing their music. Sometimes magic happens and this is one of those times.
I always admired these beautiful & talented ladies for keeping their clothes ON. Many of the other girl groups or single female performers obviously went the other way and looked like cheap stripers or felt pressure from their production team. Bananarama were very entertaining and that's why they are still.perfoming 40+ years later. THANK YOU LADIES! p.s. I always had a crush on Keren.
This is gold. Your laughter is what we need right now . Absolutely love it. I would love to see your reaction when they are being interviewed and they can't stop giggling 🤣❤
Loved part one and part two. I missed you when the original lineup tour came through San Francisco in 2017. Hopefully you will hit the States sometime in the future.
Queens! Music royalty!! Icons!!! Soundtrack to my life from my early teens to now in my 50s. Thank you for the music and most of all the joy you have brought me!!!! Love you ❤️👑❤️👑❤️👑❤️👑
From Southern Australia we loved all of you ., and the two of you are very beautiful with your friendship, more like Sisters of course!..Can I ask if you still see either Siobahn or Jacqui? I would love to see all four of you in Concert down unda ! Please come back to the Land of Oz Bananas, we LOVE Bananas here!
"Really Saying Something" Throughly enjoyed reading. The experience of having a friendship that has lasted from little kids to the here and now. "Ain't what you do it's the way that you do it", is exactly what you did. ❤ from your old town Bristol
Another great reaction video, when is part 3?? I did meet you once back in summer of 1988 when I was 6, got the picture somewhere and remember Keren saying she really liked my T-Shirt which was a Duran Duran one. 😁 And then Sara + Jacquie bth asked at the same time where I was from lol I'm from Kent-Does this ring any bells to you, at the time I was living in Bexleyheath.
First time commenting. I very much enjoyed this Laughing With Bananarama series. I was madly into Bananarama and Duran Duran back in the 80s. I bought almost all of the vinyl and CD releases - a true collector of both bands. Sadly, I drifted away after Ultra Violet, when the music seemed to be more camp. Nothing wrong with that of course. My favourite album has to be True Confessions, especially the long 12" versions of those songs and b-sides Live Now, Push etc. Although I also really used to love Pop Life - such a warm feeling album. I'm still very much into Duran, but is seems very sad that you girls arn't up there with that same Legend status, and have to play the small venues. I cant watch Absolutely Fabulous without wondering how you girls are getting on these days. All the best.
Oh blime me!!! I Heard a Rumour right from the start!!!! That is my super-duper-insanely favourite song!!!!💐💘💘💘💯🌼🌻 I've got 4 different 12" inch singles even the Japanese one with a fabulous poster inside 😍 and I can never get enough of the song 🐶 Yes, it is upbeat but it is sad lyrically and melodically and this is what makes the tune brilliant 💘 ps. Was that a clip where Bananarama performed the original version of the song? I mean before it was even released as a single? It looks like it ✌
The first record I ever bought was the A Trick Of The Night picture disc, coz my older brother wouldnt let me play his! I love you both as much as I did then!
...The 'Nana's have "Blonde Ambition", YEARS before Madonna! ..ha-HAA!! (1:23) ...I love that even THEN, they were not offended by the French & Saunders' parodies...shows that The Nana's can have a laugh at themselves....and, INFECTIOUS ones, at that! (2:05)
Ultimate girl group not manufactured in anyway. Yep ironically took an opportunity from FB3 and went much much further than the very much respected scar band but thems the breaks. Still great to listen today only girl groups to come close are Shangri-las, Supremes and shirelles
Oh my... This is amazingly fun to watch. Roughly the same age, I remember secretly liking Bananarama because my group of friends were "rockers". The crush I had on Keren, lot's of memories, good times.
Back in the 80s when I was a gormless, shy, socially challenged teenager, I was determined to make Keren Woodward my woman. She ended up marrying Andrew Ridgeley. I still don't know what happened there.
I love the original Bananarama but I have always thought Jacqui fitted the group both musically, she provided the low tone parts, and she had the right attitude. And I consider the pop life album and time around it a very good period of the group. A come back of her would be lovely and a huge delight for the fans, I think
@@thomashong2938 hmm ...you never know, sone years ago it seemed impossible that Siobhan would ever join Bananarama again, even for an one off world tour. And it did happen! You never know...
@@triadafillos1 Jacqui already did a world tour with Bananarama back in the 80s. She doesn’t have the long personal and professional history with the other girls that Siobhan had. (The three original members were longtime roommates as well as band mates.) As for right attitude, she left Bananarama because she hadn’t been allowed input in the creative, visual or musical direction of the band and the constant comparisons in the music media to Siobhan. Unless all that has changed, it doesn’t seem realistic that she will leave her current career of being a yoga teacher and massage therapist to rejoin Bananarama. That’s if Sara and Keren even want her back. Bananarama has been just those two for over thirty years. Jacqui is a fan of Siobhan’s music and they have known each other since the 80s. Maybe she can join Siobhan and Marcella in Shakespears Sister.
I'm from Brazil and I didn't know you yet, I thought you were fantastic. Congratulations, you are incredible.👏👏👏👏
Their laughter is contagious. Love all of Sara, Keren, Siobhan and Jacquie.
All the ladies in Bananarama were brilliant, talented, and so lovely. I love their music!!
",,,all the ladies ARE brilliant, talented and so very lovely,,,,"!!!

Hearing you both roar with laughter is magic to my ears.
Love these ladies. Followed them since the 80's. So natural, so great to listen too! Thanks for sharing with us
I could watch these videos all day. Keren and Sara just taking and reacting is such fun to watch.
Goosebumps.
All my summers.
Life would be far less fun without the timeless Bananarama.
Thanks ladies.
These two really should have their own show because they're absolutely hilarious. They make me howl with laughter.

It was fun watching all these clips with you. 💙
I've said it somewhere before and I'll say it again: Jimmy Mac must have a been a b-side to Help! Such a great tune it turned out 😉😇
If they retired today I will always remember them by
Cruel Summer!
The video with the dancing cop was great!

Really bloody beautiful and precious in terms of your connection to what you have done ✔
Soooo FAB!!!
The one on the left makes me giddy when she smiles. On Cloud 9. Checks all the marks, I guess.
All through their history, whenever Keren said she looks terrible, I have always thought she looked her best🍌
What do you say to the ABBA Comeback ?
So cute 🐺🐺

And sweet. :)
Going Bananas with Bananarama.

You look really well
"On a whim Sara" bwah haha
It's a shame they couldn't find better quality footage. All the videos look grainy and out of focus.
They didn’t show shy boy
luv u so much!
I honestly think Keren and Sara are hotter now than ever.
So good looking.
Pandemic 2021...and my fav British girl band Bananarama of the 80s👍♥️fr.PHILIPPINES🇵🇭
