what an amusing fashion trip down the memory lane. For me, the sexiest period was the pop life era and the most cool-elegant, almost avant-guardish style was the ones around Move in my direction and Love comes times. You looked fabulous in every piece of clothing, thank you for the music, thank you for the vibes, thank you for the fashion!

The best girl band in the best decade of music.
I always looked to Bananarama's fashion and hairstyles for inspiration in the 80's. I still love it all. I also love the friendship between the two of you. It reminds me of me and my two best friends. You are still my most favorite band from the 80's. Thank you so much!
Love this! I wore sparkly bustier tops, angora sweaters with old Levi's after the I can't Help it video came out. Oh and bobbed my hair. Love that look so much!
I grew up in the 1980’s and absolutely loved the music, the looks all of it was just magical. My style goals back then were Bananarama, Molly Ringwald, and Aimee Mann. Vintage, post-punk, clingy black stuff, Doc Martens, industrial - it stayed with me for years.

actually it has been rumoured and I agree with, the very first years of her pop career, Madonna copied the style of the Bananarama girls
