Just passed 180,000 miles with nothing required but regular maintenance and new tires. It is a pleasure to drive and hubby & now grown children still choose this to ride in over the Lexus GX. Should have done an actual acceleration test. My mom has one of these and it actually feels sporty when your extremely heavy on the gas One time, we were pulling out to an intersection and couldn't see if a car was comming, and as soon we got to the middle a speeding car came out of nowhere and my mom, not knowing what to do, floored it. And thanks to the quick acceleration of the Sienna, we didn't get hit. I looked out the mirror and it didn't even look like the guy who almost hit us even braked.
@@CarConfections The thing is there's is no need for a TRD Sienna. Because, the Sienna is family hauler & it's definitely not going to do well for sales & you don't buy minivan to go drag racing, same thing goes for the Highlander. If you a want TRD family hauler Toyota only offers the 4runner TRD & sequoia TRD. The thing is Nobody is not going to buy a TRD Sienna & Highlander. (Even we all know they both come in AWD)

Great video. I have a 2005 Toyota Sienna CE. I recently test drove the 2019 SIENNA SE. One small difference between the new one and the old was the lack of adjust-ability of the arm-rest on the new model. I found this (admittedly minor) change a downgrade.
I got the 2018 and still own the 2005 I also do not like the armrest part and the fact that the middle seat is smaller but other than that they are the Best Minivans out there.
Another great video. The exterior is beautiful whereas the interior looks more practical than stylish in my opinion. I like what they have to offer for the price and just overall usability.
Same here. 2006 running great at 149K. 2nd gen has a lot better layout than the 3rd gen, with the more useful 2nd row middle seat, door arm rest storage, multi-adjustable arm rests, better color options, etc... I recently test drove a FWD 2019 ltd and despite more HP and 8 gears, it felt like it had exactly the same power as my 13 year old van with 215 HP / 5 speed auto. I did some Googling and it appears that it didn't have that ability any of the prior years to 2020. It has an older style power tailgate, which operates manually in some situations
@@CarConfections Thank you. I googled too and read the functionality did exist in the older ones but I found nothing for 2020. My local dealership said it was my model XLE that couldn't do it, and I found nothing on that either. Oh well...
@@CarConfections I got it to work by taking bits and pieces of different videos and articles. Position the hatch where you want it and hold the button that closes the hatch. It will move on you but hold it until you hear two beeps. Now a different issue, Toyota can't figure out how to enable WiFi with Verizon. Verizon can't find the IMEI number...so my dealership says I have to switch my CELL PHONE service to Verizon. I said HELL NO and that is not how it is supposed to work.

There is actually a 360 camera on the limited premium trim.
Just checked into this further and you are correct about that. Toyotas documentation did not have that listed. Thanks for pointing it out!
Car Confections I’m a car enthusiast myself. I would love to get help getting started on talking about cars. Your channel is great and informative. Keep it up!
I’d still choose the Honda Odyssey any day. The interior screams 2011.
Agree with you! However, Toyota is making a redesign in 2021. That might make you change your mind...
What about cuting tires in 4wd models. Did Toyota fix problems with front tires replacement after 30k miles in model 2020???
You mean bad wheel alignments. Can be fixed with aftermarket parts. Shouldn't have to but if you love these vans then you'll do what you have to do.😍😂
Cheack a car haron every review
You are great explainer really
Thanks we appreciate it!
can you guys find out if Toyota got rid of the ability to adjust the height of the liftgate for the 2020s? I can't get a straight answer.
I wish you would let us hear the horn of every car you review
And very unreliable too. I just traded the crappy ass Pacifica for one of these last Friday.
It's a very reliable van.but I have to say, interior is so outdated compare to those compators.
That interior came out in 2015 model year and barely change since then besides the buttons for the infotainment screen
I LOVE IT
That video flashing got to go!!! I couldn’t stand that!! I drove minivan cabs 20 years.
My family loves the Sienna, but it sucks that the Sienna doesn’t come with Android Auto
Edit: My family _loved_ the Sienna, it was totaled by an old lady taking a blind left in front of me. I’m ok.
This year it does
natanael Bellorin I just checked Toyota’s website and it didn’t mention Android Auto
@@JoeyLovesTrains it does but in other models like the limited xle awd
Does it has timing chain or belt?
Paul Cheang chain since 2011
I think the most swagger toyota's MPV is Toyota Alphard...
