The Kenyan proposed Finance bill 2024 depicts a level of insanity within the authors
You pay all this taxes and its ends in someone pocket,first of all imprisonment of all corrupt leader must be conducted , in order for kenyas to beliefs the collected taxes will be utilised in developing our country.
But these politicians can import premium cars tax free. How is that equitable? If a manual laborer is taxed, so should the politicians. This is why they have the audacity of coming up with a ridiculous budget like this.
That is exactly the life in the west.ur taxed on everything .what i see is they have just imported the western finance bill to kenya.
true but we dont have the same economy infrastructure, nothing. If the US is a lion, their taxes is basically having to hunt to feed itself, a gazelle here, buffalo there. It can manage, barely but it gets by. Kenya is a mouse with the taxes being the appetite of a lion, only thing is, basically its supposed to hunt gazelles, bufallos, which is suicidal, considering, anything twice its size can kill, it. But the govt still doesn't care.

Everything you need has transport cost which will translate to higher prices of EVERYTHING! Owner or not...this affects everyone.
