@@kennethsatria6607 eh lazy isnt the best term. The budget for Rebels was lower than Clone Wars, which was funded by Lucas himself as a new project, and used more money on the animation. Rebels was a Disney project for money first and formost. with Clone Wars episodes also having some episodes be made with higher budgets. Style wise, Rebels was animated more in line with the original concert art by Ralph Mcquarrie, which is generally pretty bland in terms of lighting, while Clone Wars went for their own stylistic approach. Rebels is definitely more bland and visually uninspiring, but thats more because of outside factors.

I always loved how the Jedi had a mutual understanding and respect when it came to him. Hondo wouldn't just hurt anyone. Yes, he did some bad stuff, but it was all in the name of money. If they got their profit, they wouldn't even harm anyone. And that's why I loved his relationship with Obi and Anakin.
I love that line "The stories I could tell, so many of them true..." This is a guy who rose up through bullshit and bravado... and then got the chance to actually live the life he styled for himself through adventures in the clone wars.
Well, Hondo got older just like Rex, Wolf, Gregor, and Ahsoka. Shoot, the grown up Ahsoka lost a lot of her cuteness. We all loved the kid Ahsoka from Clone Wars.

I like to think that the version of rebels we see is am embellished version of events that Hera is telling her kid as bedtime stories or something. Explains the lighter tone, and other little things like Hondo being way less threatening.
Hondo was sold to the Hutts by his own parents and started his career in piracy by stealing a star ship from his former master. After doing that its life on the run because Hutts never forgive. Hondo doesn't care if he's up against Jedi, Sith, Bounty Hunters, or other criminals. It's Hondo against the Universe only Ezra Bridger seems to have won his true friendship.
