This song really Blew Me away I Discovered it at the End of the Awesome movie ''Ex Machina'' ;)
me too!
Same here. Gotta get their stuff to listen to.
I was working in a movie theater when that film was released, I would jam out to this song during the end credits while cleaning the auditorium
Same...
Reminds me of Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Absolutely, me too!
This is some excellent classic punk rock stylings. This fucking rips.
Reminds me of Yeah Yeah Yeahs meets METZ. Killer song for the end of Ex Machina. Made me want to go see them live ASAP.
I've seen them live a couple of times. They are amazing.
Love this track.
Seeing an advert for the 1975 before watching a Savages video makes my stomach churn.
Melon wat are u doin here

Film "Ex Machine"
Machina
Great film. Just watched again.

Masheeeeeeeeeeen
WOW! EXPLOSION OF PURE ENERGY.
An explosion is a rapid increase in volume and release of energy in an extreme manner, usually with the generation of high temperatures and the release of gases.
I feel like this is such a cool homage to Patti Smith's "Horses" ... HORSES HORSES HORSES!
I felt a Siouxsie vibe there.
@@RagnarokrI think it's a perfect mixture of both
@@ataqueparoxistico lady on vocals is like mix of Ian Curtis/Siouxsie/Patti Smith but with her own character too!
Wouah ça décoiffe. J'adore/
i had a banging hangover yesterday and i had to keep getting up to be sick. This song was on loop in my head and normally the ear worm of a hangover is some horrible pop song or an advert or soem unwelcome shit so having this on internal brain loop was actually alright. Cheers.
Good party?
SOO GOOD!!
Ouvindo no último volume, foi o melhor achado musical de 2023.
Awesome!
The thumbnail looks like Man Ray's "tears" without tears. Brilliant.
Brilliant!
Absolutely love y’all ❤️
Begining sounds like the dead Kennedy s holiday in Cambodia
awesome!!!!!
a cross between Dead Kennedys and Siouxsie and the Banshees,
New album please!!!! we are kind of thirsty here!!! Ok!!!
the spirit of ian curtis lives!
Yeah the beginning did sound much like Joy Division. Then her singing like Siouxsie.
Primordial
Wonderful.
She sounds quite a lot like Siouxsie, doesn't she?
Thought the same :))
Siouxsie docet! ;)
Nah, patti smith to me
@@eguadofarao Yep, this is Patti. Husbands Husbands Husbands = Horses Horses Horses
voice definitely not....I think it just because it's a female voice around dark music...but defenitly not Siouxsie at all
fucking cool and blood pumping!!!
Discovered this amazing tune from ex machina credits :)
Route du rock 2012, après Savages tout me paraissait fade ! ♥x3
Not usually a fan of this type of music but i fell asleep watching Ex Machina the other night, woke up to this track playing, I was impressed. Damn kids missing the rebellion in their music, shame i don't hear this type of dark, hardcore, heavy music anymore. Nothing but Ed Sheeran singing cheesy love ballads or lady gaga inspired trap rappers mumbling making noises.
Ex Machina brought me here & I agree with you on the mumble rap & Ed Sheeran part.
just watched it for like the sixth time...such a good movie. thought this track at the end was very fitting.
Are you kidding ? The post punk resurgence is bigger now than ever.
@@thatbitchnoemie in what bands??

EXXX MACHINAAA YEAA
Enfin un titre des Savages que j'aime !!! J'adore Jehnny Beth elle est talentueuse dommage qu'elle ait choisi ce groupe... Chacune ses goûts.
HERE WE TALK..ABOUT...''SIRIOUS'' ARTISTS....

Black Mirror Baby ... Yeeeeeeah
My girls doing it right
🔥🔥🔥🌹
She sounds quite a lot like Jenny Beth, doesn't she?
Wry comments aside, swell video. Roman Polanski's Repulsion comes to mind.

GENIAL
Lyrics
“WE RIPPED OFF SIOUXSIE AND THE BANSHEES”
Nothing is original anymore and hasn't been for the past two decades. Grow up.
The intensity reminds me of Joy Division.
Ex Machina
Yeah I just finished the movie and had to look for this song in the credits.
For a lot of that, she sounds exactly like Geddy Lee.
I keep saying that, but it falls on deaf ears, because there aren't many of us Canadian Prog/Punky Goth crossover types.

Ava
helter skelter. s and b.
Polyandry is the best environment for personal growth! Polyamory? No one is a island!
Nathan is dead ava is free Caleb is trapped forever kyoko is missing a jaw and I'm like Ava vs Terminator 6 anyone
Haha! Yeah it sucks that Caleb tried to help her and then she stabbed him in the back (figuratively) after stabbing Nathan in the back (literally).
Lol Pitchfork only reviews VEVO's videos?
soooo, be single x)
''Marry me'' !!
I heard this song in the Miley cyrus movie
Why did they just copy the intro from Dead Kennedy's Holiday in Cambodia. Could have been so original otherwise.
Also, like so many before me has pointed out - Horses by Patti Smith.
It's all good though. At least those are fine origins.

Remins me of B jork, army of me
Not a fan of her voice but the music it's alright
A fascinating glimpse into mental illness.
Song these days are'nt like song in the past where it was nice and good
this music includes all those factors why I don't like british punk rock.
In nearly every one of their songs, it seems the singer relies on the same trick.... repeat one word or line in an increasingly intense manner over the course of several bars, to somehow make the "meaning" more impassable.
it's really tired, for me. A poor rehash of old wares ie Joy Division, Sleater Kinney, Siouxsie, etc..... nothing original here at all, IMO.
To me, she's providing rhythm rather than leading. I feel like, in that way, it reminds me a lot of Joy Division. Notice that the only time her voices really wavers from that one octave is for dramatic effect on the chorus. Im not going to disrespect your opinion, music is subjective in nature, but the reasons I listed are why I like her voice, personally.
For want of a better word, this is...savage.
Are you back from the dead ? a Queen Zombie is a true first for me
