I'm sure you hate doing it but I love the Trevvy grind videos. Always impressive how much you accomplish and I like that you show all the steps and headaches.
At the dealership, they supposedly use what's called a "Bolt Buster" it's a fancy heating element that heats the bolt and burns the lock tight on the threads. Perfect for someone without a torch and it prevents unwanted fire inside of the cab and burning paint. Allowing you to easily remove the bolts. It's a big game changer for the F250. Check it out "BOLT BUSTER." Hopefully, there won't be a next time. But at least you now know.
For the weak brakes check your vac lines to the solenoid that's mounted on the degas bottle, it's common for them to break especially when doing a engine swap. Also you either have to plug or cap off the line that used to go to the EGR cooler valve, It Tees in under the intake so you can remove the entire line and install a rubber cap. Either one of those will cause weak brakes. It's also kinda common for the vac pumps to go bad as well but check the lines off the vac pump for leaks first.
The reflection in the paint on the civic is absolutely insane bro! So sick! Loved the video about the trucks. You could make a lot of money fixing up trucks. People want to buy trucks all the time. And it's amazing content. Win win!
I've never been the first one to comment on your videos before, but great content. Sorry the engine was bad, but at least it is not so far gone that you could not just replace the bearings, and consumables. You should be able to at least recoup any money spent on rebuilding it. Thanks for sharing.
These are the type of videos that i like watching from trevor not the other boring stuff that a normal guy can relate too . I flip car as a hobby so this very relatable..
2011 to 2016 superdutys all them have a fog light harness middle in the front under neath the truck all u do is buy the lights and harness and plug it in under the truck in the front and u can swap the gauge cluster with the king ranch one its plug in play no flash needed only works with a superduty with electric 4x4 only will not work with 4wd on the floor
You have to heat them cab bolts red before trying come out almost every time. Lol but you know now, the dealership has this electric coil induction thing.
I used to use a regular drill for the cab bolts. The impacts just beat themselves to death but the straight up torque of a drill would work once they are busted loose
I remember being like 16 or 17 (before 240 builds on UA-cam was a common thing) and I stumbled onto this channel. Watched trev build a 240 in his garage and show everything. This video reminds me of that style and it’s awesome.
Heat on cab bolts induction heater works best melts the lock tight then you can zip them out with an impact. Never broke one using this method done hundreds of cab pulls.
At the shop I work at we never even try to remove the cab bolt without heating them. We just move around heating them so we don’t melt the mount and allow the meat to soak up the bolt to the threads.
I would rebuild the other engine throw it back into the other truck and sell that one too it’s already torn apart and would make fast content! And your dad is great for helping you out very awesome
Great video! So great your dad helped out!! Can’t wait to see what you have going next! Keep up the great work! Ill see you when I pick up the civic haha
love to see the process on this 250. I’m from IL if anyone in the comments knows anywhere here in ILLINOIS where to buy used trucks. Any tips would be cool
Keep going on this truck make it a built video this is what we miss on your channel you working paint the truck finish this truck flip. Put the mirror of the doner truck on this red one
hey trevor ive been following the channel since the first or second supra video i saw the other 6.7 build, anyway i do alot of work with these 6.7 trucks and i just really wanted to suggest that you do a 2020 and up engine with a 15 and up turbo, absolutely bullet proof setup and it keeps you from pulling the engine from your white truck, just my two cents
I've done ford frame to body bushings and they really do suck. The job only calls for a hour and a half. It took me 2 hours to do all the bushings. It was one of the worst.
Hopefully the motor you pulled from the red truck will get rebuilt and used along with the white cab to rebuild the burnt party bus 🚌 the party bus converted into a overlander on 37s would be sick !!
Put a little heat on the body mount bolts to break the bond of the loctite just be careful not to melt the rubber mount I usually just heat the head and zip it out with the impact.
you said that Red truck was owned by a crane company right? FYI pickups at crane companies typically get used at 487% capacity LOL. I used to work for one
All you gotta do is heat those cab bolts from the top under the carpet on front floor board and the rest are self explanatory. Flying wrenches has a quick 60 second short on it.

Dude these vids where you're fixing stuff and run through the issues....these are the gold. Shout out to your dad too
Back to the old school style vids. Love it !!
You got this bro
swap engine put bearings into engine and swap it into the truck you harvested engine from or use white tuck for parts for party bus
I'm sure you hate doing it but I love the Trevvy grind videos. Always impressive how much you accomplish and I like that you show all the steps and headaches.
You need to heat the bolts with induction heating to soften the lock tight and they spin out so easy
Fixing/flipping are my favorite type of videos i guess because its relatable.
This is the best video you’ve made in a long time. I like seeing the work get done!
This is a big Trevy hustle video. Awesome. Shout out to your Dad for stepping up to help out. Well done mate. 👏👏👏👏👏💪💪💪💪
Much appreciated!
hope to see a proper transformation on this truck and hope one of them gets sold quick! good job Trev and dad!
Enjoy the time you have with your Dad. I miss doing stuff like this with mine. My Dad passed in 2015.
i been watch your channel for about 5yrs now and Trevor your still the man when it comes down to any builds!!!!!!!. love the content...

Man I miss the 2 to 3 vids a week. But still happy your posting man. Been an OG and will still be watching.
Shout out to your dad for the helping hand!
The engine literally sounds perfect. Whoever had that before must have taken good car of it. A lot of work, but you guys did amazingly well.

Love this style content like the older videos, but Nothing beats a Supra primer video
Maybe it’s because it’s more relatable but I love this content

Love this style of video. Keep it up! Hoping for the best Trevor!
Loved this video style again! Missed the truck content also!
Gotta get an induction heater for those cab bolts and they’ll come out a lot easier.
Breaker bar to the face to "maybe straighten you out " 😂 gotta turn that bad into good 👍
It might have helped a little
@@MotionAutoTv you don't need x rays we all know it did . Lol 😅
Very cool it's up and going! Awesome to see pops in there helping. Miss working with my dad
Reminds me of some of the old “in dad’s garage videos” Trevor back to form!
Reminds me of videos back in the day
Really enjoyed this video!
These are the type of videos that i like watching from trevor not the other boring stuff that a normal guy can relate too . I flip car as a hobby so this very relatable..
Missed these type of videos
Love the fix to flip vids Trev! Definitely enjoyed the progress made in this one too 👌
Finally some good truck videos. Sick of JZ crap.
thisb guy is going places
Trevor you need to get heat on those cab mount nuts. I think they use a whole tube of locktite on each bolt
Dad coming in clutch!
I was so glad to see a video was up
Hell yeah! My buddy had one of those Ric Flair 6.7 turbos. Brought back memories. WOOOOO!
That’s the best paint to use. The trim black. And that Sticks to everything.
Good stuff, I really enjoyed the Power stroke swap w/Dad, making moves Trevor, you got this

oh to be young again mighty car mods 14yrs ago when there wasnt much else on youtube
Good job! Repairing videos is like your kind of videos.
Loved this video. Good old building, getting it done. Great watch.
Thanks 👍
Hardest worker on youtube!
Great content working with dad
You are absolutely amazing, need work on a civic I can. Need to work on a Supra I can due. Need a diesel truck I can work on one too. 👍
Heat on cab bolts induction heater works best melts the lock tight then you can zip them out with an impact. Never broke one using this method done hundreds of cab pulls.
I should have looked into it more
In the end it’s family that comes through
I have 2015 F250, 6.7 .
4WD, crew, long bed. It runs out perfectly with 220,000. 24 mpg highway. Un deleted!
At the shop I work at we never even try to remove the cab bolt without heating them. We just move around heating them so we don’t melt the mount and allow the meat to soak up the bolt to the threads.
father & son team! epic
I would rebuild the other engine throw it back into the other truck and sell that one too it’s already torn apart and would make fast content! And your dad is great for helping you out very awesome
I need the white parts truck to fix the f-550 party bus
Love to see it, can't wait for the transformation on the red truck, then I hope you sell both and have to fix that other one as well! Cool trucks
Super cool that your dad is willing to burn the midnight oil with you on a work night. Mine would have bailed out by 10:01pm haha
Trevy grind video!!!! Sell your truck and build this one, interior and all
Keep going on this truck make it a built video this is what we miss on your channel you working paint the truck finish this truck flip. Put the mirror of the doner truck on this red one
Great work and thanks Dad!!
looking like a powerstroke diesel shop right now!
Good job getting it done as fast as you did. 👏🏽
hey trevor ive been following the channel since the first or second supra video i saw the other 6.7 build, anyway i do alot of work with these 6.7 trucks and i just really wanted to suggest that you do a 2020 and up engine with a 15 and up turbo, absolutely bullet proof setup and it keeps you from pulling the engine from your white truck, just my two cents
Best video, really enjoyed it. More flip content please.
nice job on the truck
i work at a ford dealer and one teach told me they use loctite on them bolts.. he said you need a torch to heat them up..
If you heat up the nuts that the cab bolts go into the cab bolts come right out with a impact.
I loved this video dude good job 😊
Getting shit done! Get it fixed up, list both trucks…see which one sells first.
That’s the plan!
gj trevor! good thinking!
do a car/truck flipping series!
Nice going buddy! Hopefully will get back on track money wise🎉
I hope so too!
I need the front cap
Could you use heat on the cab bolts to melt the loctite to make it easier?
Yeah that’s what we did after we already broke some haha
Trevys customs this is y we are here
Trev i appreciate you man
Appreciate you too!
I've done ford frame to body bushings and they really do suck. The job only calls for a hour and a half. It took me 2 hours to do all the bushings. It was one of the worst.
This is that classic motionauto work though, not really “for content” as much as it is for real life. Still killing it tho good work 👍
once that one has all the parts put on it, what are you going to ask for it? Is the seat going to be swapped out too?
Hopefully the motor you pulled from the red truck will get rebuilt and used along with the white cab to rebuild the burnt party bus 🚌 the party bus converted into a overlander on 37s would be sick !!
Please post all the work you do to this red truck
This is awesome man! Good job!
I wish we had frames that clean on the East coast
Heat Heat on the bolts and the thread locker will melt and help
If u take a torch to bolts u can melt the lock tight to make it easier buddy.
The way I’ve seen the cab bolts out is taking a induction heater and heating them up and they come out
Cool u figured it out.
Put a little heat on the body mount bolts to break the bond of the loctite just be careful not to melt the rubber mount I usually just heat the head and zip it out with the impact.
Use a bolt heater on cab bolts to heat up the thread lock. Once it's glowing hit it with an impact works every time
I have better luck heating them a couple times while I do other stuff and they seem to just come out with a ratchet like nothing
Swap the mirrors and seat from the white truck to the red truck
you said that Red truck was owned by a crane company right? FYI pickups at crane companies typically get used at 487% capacity LOL. I used to work for one
I heated my bolts. I only had a propane torch, I had to be careful, but worked great.
I should have bought an inductive heater.
All you gotta do is heat those cab bolts from the top under the carpet on front floor board and the rest are self explanatory. Flying wrenches has a quick 60 second short on it.
What was the reason for not putting white truck togethere? Maybe i missed it in previous videos.. great job to you and your Dad...
Its an extended cab, work truck package. Im also using that mostly for parts to fix my wrecked f-550 party bus
mate that sound has a Scania Vibe to it.
Also now you can build yer own Proper Truck like you want it to be, since you have the white one apart.
great vid if i was you id swap the mirrors from the other truck as well
Ya Ford says use an induction heater then you can use an impact
I need to get me one of those!
Great video.
