    Wow, I spent a lot of time there growing up & plan on moving back there later this year. I will definitely need to start looking down when walking. 👏👏

    I am from GH as well. I just started up this hobby I did a teen on our beaches. I am able to access parts of the bay right now. But with current "stay in place" makes hard to get to our beautiful beaches to cover more ground. Thanks for the video, beautiful finds. As well expanding my knowledge on what to look for.

    You missed an agate sitting right beside a piece of a shell! See it at 1:42. I have many agates from this beach and it is so addicting to come here . . . miss it so much.

    Awesome channel. We're do all the marbles come from ???

    • @timblair3004
      @timblair3004  6 років тому +2

      marbles were used inside paint cans years ago to help with the mixing process. The paint cans were thrown out with the trash and onto the beach below where the cans degraded and the marbles remained in the surf. Garbage was thrown down or pushed over the cliffs onto the beach below up until the early 1960s in many coastal communities. This was the case with many communities on the Olympic Peninsula years ago.

      أشكركم ... جميع الشواطئ التي صنعتها من مقاطع فيديو من ولاية واشنطن بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية. كان بورت تاونسيند في ولاية واشنطن مدينة ساحلية قديمة من القرن التاسع عشر وتراكم الكثير من القمامة على شواطئها عندما اعتاد الناس على تفريغ القمامة فوق المنحدرات والسماح لها بالسقوط على الشاطئ أدناه. لذا ، فإن زجاج البحر هو الزجاجات القديمة والأطباق!

    sorry it looks like agate but it's not ,i think this is Amber stone, good collection ;)

      Sofiane MERZOUG, not amber stone which is low on the mohs scale. The rocks he is displaying are very hard and glasslike, 6.6 - 7 on the mohs scale. Look at the glass which are dulled from sand scratches then the agates which are not as dulled from the sand. The Pacific Northwest is a volcanic area and agates are associated with volcanic activities. I have taken a steel file to rocks like showing in the collection at the end of the video and just skated across the surface without making a mark. A diamond file can leave a file mark.

      I have found amber on this beach as well, so I can compare the agates he is finding to that. He most definitely found agates!

    • @timblair3004
      @timblair3004  3 роки тому

      No... these are not diamonds. Agates are a form of silica formed inside volcanic rock. Agates are not as hard as diamonds
