There are so many better rocks than just straight sugar agates on the island. This week I collected 75lbs of rocks and banded agates, and boulders off of Friday Harbor. Only a few sugar agates as they are not my favorite. One thing is for sure there is way too much granite scattered across the beaches on Friday Harbor. I make cabochons for my personal collection with all the rocks I find.
