T-rex Arms sidecar is what I'm running with mine. 15+1 in the main, 17 rounder in the sidecar.. TLR7a and Holosun 507c.. Been running that for a few months with 0 complaints.. The newest model has the flat face trigger stock so that was a major plus. Great purchase man, hope you enjoy it !
The 3.6" is also a "Compact".
I totally get the cardboard box complaint but the way I see it is that I’d rather then skimp on the box then anything else. We all know the gun is going to go into a safe of a higher quality hard case anyways. Might as well put the extra value right back into the handgun that they save from a not having a hard case.
That’s just my thoughts though.
Also 5 pounds isn’t a terribly heavy trigger as far as I’m concerned but smith and Wesson triggers usually break in reaaaalllyyyy nicely. So I wouldn’t worry too much about that. I can assure you that after 500-1000 rounds it’ll be a 4-4.5” trigger and will continue to get even nicer with time.
Gorgeous gun though! Definitely a big step up from Taurus.
I definitely plan on getting this compact some day!
Right now I just have the 5” in fde, a shield 2.0, and a shield plus 4” performance center with the ported barrel and optics cut.
Can’t go wrong with m&p’s!

Bravo for the win! I like my $43 torsion 3.0 light bearing more than my almost $200 Tier1concealed Axis Slim.
Just picked up one of these in a package that included two 23 rd. mags in it and a bugout bag. No Safety though. Found it at Academy for $500. A great deal! Will be looking for a holster soon.
BTW, if you ever decide to sell the pistol, save the cardboard box. For whatever reason the re-sale price is always better if the box it came in is supplied with the pistol. Just an FYI.
have the none optic Version of this with out the Safety and love it. for my EDC i have the shield plus pc 4in with a rmr.
I have the same S&W and bought 17 round blue steel mags from Cheaper than Dirt for $25 each and so far about 500 rounds through them no issues!

Just ordered the same exact gun exept mine has the Flat Face Trigger and I was looking and wanted all the same things you was and came out with a better trigger. $589.99 and comes with Crimson Rail Light. (didn't really see a price difference so I grabbed the light. Never had one)

tier 1 makes really good holsters for these. they are pricey though. I just wanted to buy once and cry once to save myself the headache lol. i think it was 163$ including shipping which includes the mag holster as well. Glad to see someone found something more affordable that fits these though.

I have heard good things about Bravo holsters but with mine I went with FDO Industries for a holster mainly because they make one for the Olight Pl mini (Olight haters can hate) also Holosun 507c with a Apex flatly trigger. (I removed my safety) personal preference
I’ll have to check out that company as well! Bravo does make pretty customizable request if it’s not listed, but hey if FDO Industries is doing great, then what else could a man want? I am all for learning new (to me) companies to further educate myself on options. And with O-light there’s No hate at all! At the end of the day its what works for you personally! I’d rather the cost of O-Light for sure compared to other brands, however Stream-light has some good ones pretty affordable too. I just can’t justify spending $200+ on a flashlight solely for my pistol only. I have many mag lights and long lasting industrial headlamps if I really needed to scout at night. I’m not opposed to owning one. I actually really do want one. I just can’t justify the amount money some companies charge on them things.
These are great other than the triggers I wish they put the flat face triggers in these. You can take the safety off as well. I'm just not a fan of the hinge trigger design. I got a holster that supports the tlr 7a
Love the pistol that's what I carry I also have the older 2.0 model , my newer one has a different trigger than yours they must have updated the trigger recently, also check out tier one holsters

Good general overview, and sure the “ums” will dissipate over time. Also consider getting yourself a camera tri-pod. Sorry, I know recs from the “cheap seats”. Good luck.

Have you had any issues yet with the magazine release not being covered? That's always a concern of mine
I personally have not experienced troubles with the magazine release coverage

Haven't heard of bravo custom build a holster, if they don't currently make your style gun your out of luck. Bravo just build the most popular firearms. Wanted to get my wife a holster for her sig 938, they don't make them and have no future plans to
Same here. I asked about an M&P with TLR-7 and was told nope and this was three years ago. Still don't see a TLR-7 option.
