    Thank God you actually show a shot through the optic.

      I really wanted to do so! Not many videos out there actually showing how sweet this is. It’s a great optic and great firearm 😎

    I have shot for 20 years and this is a game changer especially under NV don’t turn off the ring, when someone is shooting back you ll need it

    Yeah focusing on the red dot is tough with cameras. Looking forward to seeing how it does at the range.

      It sure is Lol my iPhone probably thinks I’m trying to arouse it tapping on the screen to focus 😂

    Primary Arms makes some high value stuff. I'm looking forward to doing more shooting with my Slx 5x36mm gen3 acss-aurora prism scope. A fraction of an acog in price with the same reticle and more magnification.

      I couldn’t agree more! I see nothing but solid reviews on many makes, and I’m looking forward to finding a 1-6 ACSS as well for the future! They’re by far becoming an amazing competitor in the industry with their cost and amazing quality! They also LISTEN to what the people want to see which speaks volume!

      Thank you! It’s been a want for a good year, and happy as it’s the best decision, as for as the pistol class, I’ve made!

    I have the same pistol with the ACSS optic in green but the original trigger was horrible! I installed the overwatch trigger and it is awesome!

      Very true! These triggers are very disappointing on such an amazing firearm! Looking to get the Apex Soon 🙂

    I was hoping on getting the closed emitter option but apparently the footprint is different and 2 mounting plates are required for the m&p 2.0 compact negating the the raised iron sights 😮‍💨

    Good vid. You mentioned that some think this reticle is distracting. For me it is not. This reticle is not distraction to anyone I know. As mentioned, you can turn off the large circle if it is distraction. Personally I don't shoot action competition, so that is not a consideration. But I DO wish Primary Arms would offer the 250 MOA circle with a 2 or 3 MOA do. At close range the chevron shape is immaterial, just use it like any other dot - ignore the shape. For long range the sharp pointed chevron is quite precise. For 9mm the bottom of the reticle is a pretty good aiming point at 100 yards, (compensates for drop - see their website for other caliber bullet drop data. If people actually try this reticle rather than just repeating some negative comment they heard/read, I predict it will be a resounding success for general use. As noted, at arms length the large circle is NOT visible if you are on target. Thanks for the vid.

      I sure would love if they could keep the ring, and discard the chevron! It’s 10 MOA which is a blob within Self Defense Ranges. But as you mentioned, 30+ yards that sharp chevron point is deadly and helps a ton!
      I would love to see them partner again for a 2MOA dot! It would be far more superior

    It's now a year later. If you're still tracking this video, what has battery life been like with this optic? The big circle would tend to eat current, and I hear green LEDs are less power efficient than red. So battery life could be an issue. I'd like to know what your experience has been.

    Do you notice how the green reticle becomes 2 at low light conditions ? And it’s blurry for me indoors. I have the same one as you.

      I have not experienced this issue personally it appears good. I would maybe contact Holosun?

    It’s gotta eat battery life up like a beast with the circle on. How about it?

      It’s rated for 20,000 hours minimum of constantly running on 6 power out of 12 total (Which is Way Bright). I have read if you have shake awake on, and I only run on maybe brightness 3 out of the 12, it’ll last far beyond. It’ll be at least 2 years - 5 years based on your brightness, shake awake being on or off, and how often it’s actually on. It’s run on a solar power panel, and the battery is for assist on higher brightnesses or at night when the solar panel has no ambient light. If you replace your battery yearly or so you’ll be plenty fine.

    How well do the sights co-witness are they usable or are you barely able to see them? Would you be fast/accurate if the dot was not on?

    • @officiallytx
      @officiallytx  Рік тому

      You could co-witness, and it works okay, but it kinda defeats the purpose of a dot sight. If you co-witness, or “slave”, a dot to your front sight, then there is just no true purpose other than it looking awesome. I zeroed my dot separate from the height sights, and it’s about a few millimeters above, but it’s dead nuts.

    What adapter plate are you using ?

    • @officiallytx
      @officiallytx  Рік тому

      This plate came from S&W and is for Trijicon RMR & Holosun products.
