Sadly changing the view to near doesn't fix this either, in fact the near camera seems a little off too, almost as if it's too low to the ground. The rigid camera feeling is back, like GT5&6. I really hope they fix this, especially as the adjustments in GT Sport were so effective and made playing with the chase cam a great experience.
Thanks for the feedback. Just to be sure, are you certain it doesn't need to put the sensivity slider at max (instead of min.) to get the good final result in gt7 ?
@@lo974 unfortunately not, putting it to the max makes it ultra rigid and not very natural feeling. For whatever reason it seems Sport allowed the sensitivity to be turned all the way down to zero whereas GT7 stops at 1. It's better than the default settings, but nowhere near as natural feeling as it is in Sport. The games still pretty awesome overall, just hope they can patch this!
Dude even GTA 3 has it, I can't believe big fucking AAA Game on PS4/PS5 can't let you rotate the damn camera or at least make the third person cam look normal like any other game
and it's crazy to think that we may be waiting months to have this... That said, I think that the proposed range does not have much amplitude, I wonder if the zero value will really resolve the problem so much it is still rigid at 1/10 (in gt sport, set 0.1/ 1 was not bad yet...)
And the bonnet camera being on the f'n roof in most cars! Why isn't there a bonnet camera AND a roof camera... Also cockpit cameras are always soo low, you can hardly see the road
This has been bugging me since I started playing yesterday. Even on gt sport it was what made me not play it at the beginning and just keep playing Forza 7. And when I discovered that it was some sort of glitch where you set it to one then return it to zero just like in the video, it was weird that this had to be done every time you booted the game. I hated the rigid camera on GT5 after skipping 4 for some reason but played to death GT3 and 2.
This is so disappointing and makes me lose faith in videogames. Just when they got it right after many years of feedback they ditch all the good work and go back to a shitty chase view
I'm more of a first person racer but I do agree this sucks. Even something as simple as a bumper cam is wrong - it's not placed on the bumper at all but inside the car (which is obviously removed from view). This means when you think you have room to slipstream around a car you end up hitting it. Makes it unusable! When will they introduce a bonnet cam like every other racing game has had for 20 years??
chase view in gt sport was much better than this new gt7 , this regression is incomprehensible. I admit, the Forza games have always very good chase cam views (dynamic, good fov, nice speed feeling..), but this is the only thing I envy to Forza...
It confounds me how Polyphony has never managed to build a decent chase cam across *five* console generations and a quarter of a century. GT3 was the only game that came close and even that is nowhere near modern titles that use dynamic field of view, dolly movement, height and other tricks to communicate your car's momentum.
@@tm-om8yh no, the mostly similar is in this video, 1(minimum) ; 0 .This is the best result we can have currently, and it's not good. And something else: the sensitivity parameter was to be at max on GT sport beta only. In the final version , they reversed the effect and it is necessary to put to 0 to have the same right effect (more logical). Sadly, 0 is not available anymore in GT7, and this is the problem ,we think.

Go play GTA or something if you like casual chase cam.
I didn't buy GT7 yet because I wanted to make sure they fixed the chase cam, seems like it is even worse than GT pro, how can they miss such thing
They really dropped the ball here.. not only is it too fixed but you can't view the side of the car with the right stick!
Yes! I don’t know why in the world a big racing game like this not having the 360 câmara literally every racing game has it since PS3
Dude even GTA 3 has it, I can't believe big fucking AAA Game on PS4/PS5 can't let you rotate the damn camera or at least make the third person cam look normal like any other game
You're telling me..all they need is an option to have "0"

I thought I was the only one I stop playing the game because of this it makes your car look like it's sliding side to side arcade type a thing
Bro, gt7 is much better but its Just time, Just wait like gt sport
I hope they fix it in the future...
They've had a quarter of a century to fix it. I doubt anything will change in a point update.
1 year later it's still limited and split screen is still broken
Wtf
The chase came just bothers me so much on these games. Who's decision was this?
And camera rotation? Does have?
@@AllanAoyamaTrue 360 rotation in race ? neither :/

That chase cam is ridiculous

Maybe try with "near" option. That's why I've been worried about GT7, this shitty static camera. Maybe some patch will fix it in near future.
I hope so!
Why does GT only give good chase cameras the spinoffs? They did the same thing with GT PSP what the fuck?
Cockpit view ftw lol
Que video aleatorio ver voce comentando lol

They also need to nerf the car prices and buff the race credits

gt sport and 7 chase cam quality is abysmal compared to forza 7

I don't get what the first 2 options even do...
Chase view type change to near, i dont like far
You can adjust it in the Menu and make it closer or farther.
The cameras in GT have almost always been the worst in the industry, with the exception of their bumper cam in GT4 being one of the best bumper cams
Wtf is Polyphony thinking?
this is so fake, it's turning drifting in sport, it's not just turning the car, the car doesn't lean like that in sport
Did you play gt sport and gt7?
Video 720p????
Put 10 0!!
no, 10 is the rigidity max !! have you try yourself ??
@@YeahBaby369 it is the most similar to gt sport..
