- Trackpad
If you hate the mouse, you're definitely going to hate this more. The trackpad is... doable. For some reason, I perform better on this when I'm playing the Draw the Perfect Circle game than with a mouse or an actual pen. My trackpad is really bad. It has dust everywhere; I clean it and then it gathers specks 3 days after. And I refuse to use this ever.
- Geometry Dash in VR
Geometry Dash in VR is apparently real and more functional than the other kinds of controllers. Here I am, using KingSammelot's videos for the 6th time in a row - he does so much to the controllers scene. Now if they ported over Geometry Dash to VRChat, hell would probably break loose on the demographics chart of Geometry Dash's audience. Outside of KingSammelot, Pixels played the The Block Factory by Pocke on Steam VR and it's super dope. Man, the immersion is so real, I wish I could play Geometry Dash with my hands just like in VR.

- More on the banana keyboard
The banana keyboard uses Arduino Leonardo and really, you can research more on what it does since I am no coder (or at least I tried with learning Python) and I barely figured it out. I won this thing from a raffle at university and this is incredibly lucky because not only did the wheel end up on the people who organised the event, once it didn't, it landed on me. And it doesn't deliver to Australia. Nice.

Hello! Trackpad player here. Shame you didn't give us any love (like 3 of us).
Just based on the video, you can clearly tell how people can differ in terms of how they are used to in playing such a simple game. It's to the point where they get bored with what they're using and they attempt to make use of other wacky mediums, which makes sense because Geometry Dash has very simple controls. I also think it's good to experiment to check what kind of controller you are used to so that you can both improve and become comfortable in playing the game. Another way that controllers differ is how they react in 2 player modes, which makes me think if there has ever been someone who has beaten a 2 player mode level with only one hand, but I digress. I don't really have anything else to say because i have never used actual controllers to play GD. Usually keyboard, trackpad, or mobile. Another banger, Puueds! Keep popping off. Also the banana is pretty funny.
oh my god i forgot to talk about the trackpad BRO LMAO
i use trackpad with pen and its unironically super fun, beat my first insane demon on it and it feels very smooth. theres tons of silly stuff you can do with it like holding the right click button on the pen simple halts your click.

Controllers are definitely a good way to play platformer levels! Just like how EVW said in his video for I Wanna Be The Guy, he’ll be switching to controller to play platformer levels!
(I also noticed the Outro music is the song in your level “Soar”! That level was pretty fun to play while playing through the Water Gauntlet!)
that's interesting he's switching to controllers specifically for platformer levels. In a way, players who played on controller and switch will still eventually come back to it lol
For anyone wondering: including the New 2DS XL I'm playing on I had eight consoles on display in that video :D

about geometry dash on linux, steam has a translation layer that ports windows code into linux code, so we can play too! and geode is supported.
