Route 66 Abandoned in Arizona -Twin Arrows Trading Post Ruins

Continuing our Abandoned Arizona Road trip down route 66, our next stop is the Twin Arrows trading post. There is a ton of graffiti at this stop right off route 40, but it is really cool to see the old buildings.
This was an incredible stop for Arizona Urbex, and one of the best Route 66 Ruins, I have seen. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.

Was a filming location in the movie Forest Gump. The scene was when he was running and a car splashed mud on his shirt to make the smiley face on his shirt. The 2 arrows were in the background in that scene..Yery sad to see only one arrow standing such a iconic stop on rt66.
