Abandoned ‘Forrest Gump’ Film Location - Twin Arrows Trading Post on Route 66

Next stop on my roadtrip that I did a few months ago in Arizona was a place I have been wanting to visit since 1994 when Forrest Gump decided to go for a little run. The place where he invents the Smiley Face and the slogan “Have a Nice Day!” and it was only in the film for a brief amount of time in the running montage. It’s a shame it wasn’t completely run into the ground and destroyed like this as it would have been great to visit that diner!
Good ol’ Route 66 on the old mother road!... Vlog on!
