  • Spliced this together real quick for now, I’ll have better content coming soon with commentary.
    A couple short vids and pics of various stages of the build. Originally had the Sprintex Supercharger and then went K series.

    Not sure if still have it but what exactly did you need to do the complete k20 swap?

      Still have it, Hasport makes the mounts, pick which K you want, insaneshafts or hasport have the axles needed. Wiring is probably the hardest part.

    Rick how did you wire up the harbess to have all your oem cluster work?? Every build i see always says you need aftermarket cluster setup

      @@cingham8947 I have a ge8 fit (09) and what doesn't make sense is the wiring requirements for the gauge cluster to work

    nice...initially i was thinking of getting a hatchback civic and do a kswap but since my fit almost have 150k miles on it i might as well kswap my fit instead..

    What gen is the best to drive as a daily? I’m going to be buying a manual trans car so it’s easier to swap down the line.

      the 2nd gen is slightly longer and wider than the 1st gen. also has 20 more hp and looks better (IMO). oh, and the chassis is 164% stiffer than the 1st gen.

    Do you have to cut anything?
    Like the frame

      If you’re adding AC you’ll need to notch and cut a small amount so the compressor will clear, if you don’t plan on running AC you’re good.

    Gonna be my first time doing a swap. I have a 08 fit sport and heard that you need to do a lot of cutting and stuff. Im planning on trading it to an 09 would that make things easier for me?

      GD is way easier to swap compared to the GE. Stick with what you have 👍🏼

      @@jok3r.h2 go with k24A2 from TSX or JDM K24, they have torque on the low end and are cheaper since they were mass produced.

      Right now the best info is available on UA-cam from AQ Performance. They break it all down on what you need and what to look for when attempting this swap. The videos they have are pretty informative. Hope that helps 👍🏼

    How did you get so much clearance?

      US model Fits have plenty of room, it’s the JDM models that will have some slight clearance issues since the front end is shorter. Mostly with the intake manifold is where you’ll have some issues.

      So your telling me I don't need to worry custom intake manifolds, and moving brake lines and shit?

      @@OmegaHDv1 You can run stock intake manifolds or aftermarket, don’t need to worry about moving brake lines or anything crazy. You will need to fab up your header and exhaust setup. Make your own intake as well.

      It all depends on what you’re going for? We fully built the motor and trans for my setup so it added up quickly. I would say you can probably do a basic build for about 6-7K + -. Motor, trans, axles, mounts, shifter and cables, engine management and then figuring out the wiring setup.

    Did you make that sub enclosure? It kinda reminds me of the JL stealth box for the GD

      Yeah it was custom made to still utilize the cargo area.

      @@noahboostmaster2149 Yes correct, it’s a fiberglass box built to spec to accommodate a JL Audio W3. It sounds really good too.
